I bought a T12-958 recently with an M8 handle and until now it has worked very well. The tip wasn't earthed but that was easily resolved.
Now, whenever it is switched on, it heats up to about 70*C then shows an [INVER] error on the screen and stops. In order to fix it I have to either unplug and re-plug the handle, or unplug and re-insert the tip from the handle. While doing that it changes to [ERROR], then it finishes heating up and works perfectly. Until it's turned off, after which it will show [INVER] again next time it is turned on.
Any idea what the problem is?

I am working on ACER Aspire A515-54-74LM Serial # NXHNAAA00693913C647600 (SNID: 93908099676 ). Motherboard DA0ZAWMB8G0 Rev.G (UMA, no video chip on this board). It turns on fine but when booting to Windows 11, it just keep loading. The Windows ring is continously spinning & does not proceed anywhere. I tried with another known good SSD Card with 100% Windows 11 bootable from this SSD., & result if still the same. BIOS ME Region has been cleaned, same result with old & new BIOS bin files. I have an Asus G14 (GA401QM) that has a power issue. Originally the board had a shorted 5V rail and dead EC. I reballed a working EC, soldered it on, and I resolved the 5V issue by replacing the APL6012 and the low side 5V mosfet. Resistances on all power rails are healthy now, but 20V does not make it through the first MOSFET. 20V is present on the drain of the first MOSFET, but there is no voltage on the gate or source.
When diagnosing this issue, I thought that the issue was due to the BQ24800 chip not outputting the correct signals so I soldered on a known working chip and the...Today, 01:30 PM -

Hello, I was updating the bios on my t470 20jn pf1q6dx5 using the soic8 clip that came with the Ch341A on the bios and pressed the clip too far back when i was taking it out and it knocked off what look like little capacitors, can this be repaired or bypassed with solder or a wire or what was originally on there, they are extremely small. I have attached two pictures, one with the capacitors on and one with them off. It took me weeks to figure out why the board wouldn't power on. I thought I had broke the bios. THe machine turns on for a second then turns off.

Because the unit is old (but only occasionally used) the loudness button causes some noise due to bad contact,
sprays did not work, so i decided to solder the pins that it connects on the pcb at the on (loudness on) position
i did that and it worked fine, i know from the bottom of my heart that the switch connects 2 pins and also d/c other 2 pins

Please help sir, this board does not turn on because VSYS_OUT is 9.2v, I compared it with a normal board VSYS_OUT is 10.2v, I have replaced the PQ101 and PQ102 mosfet and BQ 25700 which is known to be good, but the results are still the same, thank you

there is no reaction, it hangs at 20 V/0A. There was a little corrosion in the u7650 area. Replacing the u7000 did not help. Tell me, what else could it be? PPBUS_G3H=12.9V
