Logic Board 820-01987-A missing PP3V3_S5
Hi good Friends., today working on a Macbook Pro A2289, Logic board 820-01978-A. The history was liquid spill, Cleaned & replaced all corroded components & now the logic board shows 20v & .01amp on the meter. Not taking in any amps. Upon trouble shooting I get the required stable voltages 5V, PP3V3_G3H 3.3V but no PP3V3_S5. Checked the schematic, assume that this is generated from U7800. Checked all the Input/Output voltages on this chip. All is fine, except PP3V3_S5 is missing. Resistance from GND to PP3V3_S5 is 146 Kohms. First I need to make sure whether PP3V3_S5 is generated from... -

Password removal on MacBook Pro A2159
Hi friends., I am working on MacBook Pro A2159 touchbar 2019. The old logic board was liquid spilled so I ordered another logic board from AE. Received it & all worked fine till I got to the Chinese login screen where the login screen password tobe entered. I tried to reset the password but it again gave me options which I do not know about the Apple ID. I formatted the onboard SSD. & wanted to change the startup boot sequence but in order to change it, again the password is needed for that too. Is there a way to get rid of this password?? The seller has not replied back past 2 days, how...

So guys., yesterday I replaced the LCD Screen for a another MacBook Air A2681 laptop purchased from AE (XJSCYYCMAC LCD Store). I was so scared that the same problem might incur as mentioned in this forum. But all went smooth without any problems. So the outcome of all this which I believe was that the LCD Screen A2681 batch which I was purchased from AE (Seven Puppy) were defective & caused my logic board to go bad. Dear., Did you ever get this logic board 820-01598-A board working.. As I have the same problem as you had previously, NO BACKLIGHT & No ENABLE signal to turn ON U8400 (Backlight Driver chip). According to the schematics, ENABLE signal is directly generated from the CPU. Asking All, is there any other way round to get this voltage out of the CPU or by applying voltage to the enable pin & turning this chip on ???...Leave a comment:

Dear we have a lot of tips, but till this day & time not found out a solution., assuming that the LCD screens which we are receiving from China has some problem & there is a direct interrupt with the battery rails. I have no idea why people misguide so much. The video at one instance might resolve the problem, but if there is a physical hardware problem, might never resolve. Anyway I have come up a solution & this is really working fine with me. I replaced & did all what was suggested on the web but none worked. If one is good at soldering, Just remove the SD card chip from the Sub Board, all will work fine, audio even is perfect. Either replace with new chip RTS5146 (Could not find this chip on AE) or leave it as is, & inform the laptop user to use external USB card reader module, much cheaper...Leave a comment:

Dear Friends., I have having a problem with this Laptop. It turn on when battery removed & then turns on with the power Adapter. But when I put back the battery, it works fine & charges well & the laptop works fine. I am assuming this is a BIOS problem. I am uploading both Original16MB & 8MB BIOS which is on the motherboard. Pls. if someone can re-build this BIOS for me, I would appreciate. Thanks in advance.

820-01521-A (MacBook Air A1932 2019) stuck on 5V
Hi all dear friend., today I am working on 820-01521-A logic board (MacBook Air A1932 2019) stuck on 5V .19 milliamps. The history of this logic board was liquid spill on major components. First gave a good cleanup & both CD3215C00Z were getting very hot, so I replaced both. Now on the 12V coil, there is only 5v present & 3.3V is perfect. In some area like PPVIN_G3H_P3V3G3HRTC , PPBUS_G3H_TPAD etc., 12V is perfect. On the 5v coil .2 volts only. I checked the enable signal on the regulator chip, enable is NOT present. The logic board is very clean, I do not see any signs of spill anymore.... -

mon2., Want to verify that this model Lenovo motherboard takes PWR_DCBATOUT as 13.18V & throughout the motherboard on this rail???? The INPUT to the first MOSFET PU4403 is 19v... But once the voltage is out from this MOSEFT, there is voltage drops to 13.18V & on this inductor PL4401 it even drops to 10.90v. The output of the 2nd MOSFET PU4405 is 13.18V ... Similar to the Dell & Hp newer motherboard I guess!!! The 3.3V & 5V comes on fine in the start & stays for a whiile, then fluctuates, & no voltage on these 2 output inductors. 3D3V_S0 is not present at all. Thanks de...Leave a comment:
