Macbook Air a2337 820-02016 does not charge or detect battery.
HI,
Macbook air a2337 820-02016 logic board does not charge or detect battery information in system. When charger is connected my usb-c meter displays 19V 0.14-0.52amps. Apple service diagnostic test return error PPP007 "There may be am issue with the power adapter".
* I have already replaced U5200, no changes.

The power adapter is 240W.
PR8903 RES 100K OHM = 100K.
P_A/D_IN_DETECT = 6.02V with battery and charger plugged in

Hi Mon2
I used the board view and I attached it to the post. The mosfets on the back of the board are exactly the same and placement. When I use a brand new pre charged battery it was 26% and got it to charge to 30% while holding the probes. The dc mosfets used are brand new and not from doner boards. I went ahead and replaced the PQL8901, PQH8901, and PQ8904 with brand new mosfets, with same effect.
the unit is the, slight differences in the board however i can't find the board view for the exact board....Leave a comment:

pin 11 P_CHG_SDA_5 = 3.27v and pin 12 P_CHG_SCL_5 = 3.27v. when ac adapter is pugged it goes from X to charging but of course its not charging.
The battery does charge using a psu using red probe to bat and black to ground....Leave a comment:

source (1-2-3) / drain (5-6-7-8) = 0L (measurement goes past 200K)
source (1-2-3) / gate (4) = 9.6K ohms (suspect)?
gate (4) / drain (5-6-7-8) = 0L (measurement goes past 200K)

source (1-2-3) / drain (5-6-7-8) = measurement goes past 200k

1. power adapter is oem asus 240W, the OS reports that the battery is being charged when plugs but actually does not.
2. both mosfets where removed and replaced with brand new ones they are located on the other side of the board, however a/d dock is 20.3V

Asus Zenbook Pro Duo 15 UX582H, MB: UX582HM
unit power on fine with battery and charger however battery does not charge past 26%. The battery is brand new OEM ASUS. Replaced both PQ8901, PQ8902 mosfets, no change. I am getting 14.4V at the battery. Any help or input would be appreciated. I uploaded the boardview. -

when insert the charger pin 4 & 5 = 3.28v which looks good to me however unit still does not power on with the power button. I checked and measure the power key and it is fine.

Hi,
Dell Inspiron 15 3520 with MB HDL50 LA-L946P that powers on with the ac adapter however does not power on with the battery. The battery is brand new and passes all dell diagnostic test. If the ac adapter is unplugged the unit will power off but displays 100% charge. The unit will not power using the battery. The battery does charge without issues. 😕 any help?
