hi,
unit is a : Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 GE4B0 motherboard with the infamous QB6 mosfet de soldering off the board, however the usb c port was replaced by another shop not know the common issue. I replaced the qb6 with a AON7466 however the UB7 started to get really hot and unit would not turn on. I then replaced the UB7 and QB5. I now get 0V on VINT20_IN_F and VINT20_IN on both sides of F6106, however when I inject 12v on either side the unit boots up. Can this be an issue with the USB-C port not soldered properly? I so get 20V 0.039A on the usb-c meter. [TABLE]

Macbook Air A2337 820-02016 USB 5V switching on/off ?
Hi,
Have a macbook air a2337 820-02016, customer states was working on it and suddenly shut off. No liquid damage and the logic board is clean. started poking around the cd3217b12 controllers and found multiple shorts listed. Measured in diode mode.[LIST][*]CF408 PP3V3_UPC0_LDO = 030.5ohm[*]CF405 PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE = 048.8ohm[*]CF508 PP3V3_UPC1_LDO = 032.6ohm[*]CF131 PP3V3_ATCRTMR1_VCCA = 017.4ohm[*]CF230 PP1V25_S2 = 037.6ohm[*]CF142 PP3V3_S2SW_USBC1 = 016.9ohm also 0V measurement.[/LIST]however removed caps one by one to see if shorts will disappear however but still present don't... -

hi,
unit powers and works however the caution sign is show in device manager due to the gtx 1650, it is currently using the integrated Radeon graphics. The +NVVDD1 lines is shorted to ground. The only OHM measurement that I am receiving is at 000.6 @ 200ohm at PLV2. any input would be great, thanks -

I managed to open the unit and found shorts on lines VCORE, VCCSA_SENSE, VCCSA. Does this mean that the CPU is most likely toast or U6601 VCPU controller ? -
