Original post, have the same motherboard and would like to input DMI into my BIOS, but not sure about DMI offset. Foud just win key offset. If you like I can upload here my file.
Hi master, I am here with same problem, as many of us.
Another service replaced PCH and probably reflashed BIOS as well (soldering stains on BIOS chip) and now NVMe not visible.
My unit is:
AN515-57-57EB,
Model N20C1,
SNID: 2111804534
S/N: NHQELEC0032111CD1D3400
Motherboard model: GH51G LA-L181P Rev 1C
SRKMA PCH
Intel Core i5-11400H (2,70-4,50GHz) (BNCH-16099b)
15,6" FHD 1920x1080px Matný IPS 144Hz LED
8GB DDR4 3200MHz
M.2 PCIe SSD 512GB
nVidia GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6
I tried to clean ME region, and now have no display...
UPDATE, SOLVED with replacing UF400 (shorted), UF500 (red somewhere is good to replace both PD controllres), UF750 (visual damege on corner) and finally started working after UF260 replacement (probably corupted firmware). Mon2, thanks for help, really, really appreciated it.
Hi mon2,
both SPI have voltages,
UF260 - 3,3V
U1970 = 1,8V
that is O,K
I reballed both PD controllers to be sure, tried both controllers from working board, still stuck at 5V and power cycle...
Now waiting for USB-C tester.
Can this be caused by UF260 firmware? Is a good idea replace UF260 from working board for test?
Thanks...
Hi guys, I finally replaced PCH, laptop starts working, but can not see any NVMe drive. I did not clean ME region yet, I used PCH from Acer board with same marking, do I need to clean as well? Start is normal, no extended waiting for boot.
NO DFU attempt yet. I ordered USB-C port tester and new stencil for PD controllers, will reball both PD controllers and test, data are the most important. Thanks for help, will post my update later on.
