Lenovo E480 NM-B421 please repair the bios
Hello everyone,
I bought a damaged laptop, one RAM slot was not working. I thought it was the Bios fault, so I uploaded one from this forum, unfortunately the laptop did not turn on anymore. I uploaded the original bios back, but the laptop no more turns on.
The laptop is charging the battery, 3V and 5V are present. After pressing the power button no reaction.
Attached is the original bios and all data. Please fix the bios....

Re: Marshall Stanmore II voice with the google assistant built-in
3 out of 5 speakers were repaired.
The first repaired after several reset attempts.
In the second one, I found a capacitor short-circuited.
In the third, I found a damaged resistor.
I have not fixed the fourth one yet, based on the current consumption and the thermal imaging camera, I can see that the linux itself is loading but it probably does not execute the program.
The fifth play is still ahead of me.

Re: Marshall Stanmore II voice with the google assistant built-in
The reset procedure is like this: "Press and hold both the Source button and the play/pause button for 7 seconds," but it doesn't do anything. I can't see the UART, but there is a USB service port. I opened this FS5332 and made an overview shot. All voltages on the board are correct.

Marshall Stanmore II voice with the google assistant built-in
Hello everyone,
I'm Marek and I'm from Poland.
I bought on our auction site 5 pieces of damaged Marchalla speakers. I'm an electronics engineer and thought I would fix them myself. I was very disappointed with the construction inside.
As power amplifiers there are 2x TAS5711. Everything is controlled by a ready-made module from Frontier Silicon MINUET FS5332. In the attachment I send pictures of the PCB. All 5 pcs have the same fault. The power supplies have 24V at the output. After connecting the power supply from the lab power supply, you can see how the current floats...

Re: Marshall Stanmore Repair
LM317 had the same protector signal as the inverter. After desoldering another resistor all voltages have already appeared correct.
Unfortunately, no functions are still working.

Update:
What voltage should come out of LM317??

Re: Marshall Stanmore Repair
A larger picture is attached.
Edit:
I measured that instead of 3V on TAS5508C power supply I have 0.6V...Last edited by dysk1; 09-03-2019, 08:42 AM.

Re: Marshall Stanmore Repair
Hello,
I also have a device that doesn't work. After switching on the power supply instead of 30V I have 8.3V.
I drew a converter feedback diagram. I came to the fact that it blocks the signal fed from the 12LE5A16S2 processor to the R147 resistor. After desoldering the R147 resistor, the inverter works correctly and has 30V, but this is not the solution to the problem.
I am asking for any suggestions.
