I did exactly that and laptop refuse to power on after returning back the file, I had return back the back up file.
I select the windows key and auto fill with 00 via hex editor and change the (?) to (<)
Save and reprogram, laptop did not turn on.
Change only the AA553F to AA553C alone, without touching the windows key.

I don't think there's a schematic diagram for this yet but you can use 1040 g2 schematic as reference....Leave a comment:

It's from the bios, it's easy on the 840 G1-G4/820-G1-G3 including 1040 and 1030 to G3 but from G5 above I've been finding it difficult to do so....Leave a comment:
