Tips geting oxidized when using wick
Hi, i have weird problem - when i'm using soldering wick to clean BGA balls under CPU or PCH on motherboard my tips(different types) getting oxidized very fast and lost all power.
i Was trying different types of wick, flux - no difference. I can't even clean one full socket and i need to use deoxidizer in half-time.
Temperature: 350-365celsius
station: jbc cd-2bqe
Wick: edsyn
flux: warton hf rework jelly
Do you have any tips?... -

Dell Latitude E5590(La-f411p) water damaged
Hi,
I have water damaged Dell Latitude E5590 around charging ic.
Laptop was dead but i replaced some components like capacitors, resistors, resoldered charger(intersil 9538h) but traces under PQ904 dual mosfet(AOE6936) was burnt.
I rebuilt traces and both mosfets(PQ904 and PQ905) and after all this work laptop started turning on.
I dont have battery so i want to be sure if laptop behaviour is normal before buying.
On PL902 i have weird voltage around 5Volts, on battery socket voltage looks normal - 13.5v.
Is this voltage on pl902 normal?... -

I have weird problem with this laptop:
- All CPU Phases have weirdly high resistance like 70-80ohms
- PCH coil too have weirdly high resistance like 300-400ohms.
- Laptop starts for second, pch look like it's getting hot from down right corner.
- PCH on first few seconds getting 50-60 degrees celsius
Turning on but only for 1-2seconds and then off, tried resetting bios but nothing changed.

Nintendo Switch Oled dead
Hello, i bought dead nintendo switch oled.
after plugging charger with amp meter device shows 5v and 0,0 or 0,02 amperage draw.
I inspected motherboard and someone tried to reflow or replace m92t36 and didn't do it well, i resoldered it proper and find that usb-c fuse was blown too(replaced it).
After this device started to draw 15v and something around 0,48 but only for few seconds after this returned to 0A draw.
I tried to plug motherboard without battery - shows 15 0A and when charger was pluged i put battery back in then console started to charging battery but stuck... -

ProBook 650 g2 audio/headphones problem
I have problem with probook 650 g2 - laptop shows connected headphones Even without them. If i pług headphone Jack - computer show disconnected headphones. Speakers work when i change sound output.
I replaced Jack board - nothing changed. Computer shows connected headphones even without Jack board connected to motherboard. -
HP EliteBook 840 G4 won't power on
Hello, i have problem with HP EliteBook 840 g4, laptop was working normally but only on 1 ram slot - second was damaged so i decided to unsolder secon slot, i did it properly - no solder joints shorted - but now laptop won't start, zero reaction for clicking power on button and weird behaviour - laptop shows orange light means charging - even if there is no battery inside.
What should i check first? -

Another thing: i desoldered PQ55: IMD2AT108 and after this laptop turning on and showing charging even if i first plug charger in to wall socket and then into laptop but issues with charging still are there - 8.4v on charging coil, when i turn on laptop - 2.4v on this coil.
Under thermal camera nothing getting really hot, when i checked it with "clicking sound" - just 1st mosfet and PQ55 were pulsating but still not really hot - around 25 celsius.Leave a comment:

On the 1st mosfet there is 9.4v on gate, on the second mosfet(another side of board) there is 19v on gate. - measured in situation when i plug the dcin jack first and then to the wall (laptop showing orange light but not charging - 8.4v on charging coil - after 10hours battery charged around 0.05v - if it can be named as charged).Leave a comment:

Battery charging mosfets and dcin mosfets checked - ok
another behaviour noticed: when i plug the dc jack into laptop, then to the wall socket diode showing charging - orange and in this situation voltage on battery charging coil is around 8.4v but when i turn on laptop, this voltage dropped to 2.4 v and staying this levelLeave a comment:

Hello, i have in hands: E5-573g mb code: da0zrtmb6d0 rev D and it works weird:
When i plug the ac adapter to the wall socket and then plugging in dc jack to the laptop - laptop is clicking and doesnt turning on.
Weird thing is that when i first plug the dc jack into laptop and then plug the power cord to the wall socket - laptop turning on but doesnt charging battery - showing in windows "battery charging" but even after 24hours connected, battery is still 0%.
I replaced the charger - no effects - same behaviour,

Yea, i know this but i had similar issues with deffective ram thats why i did memtest. Hmmm, now nothing happening with this laptop and honestly i dont know what to do - i can only add that after this artifacts, on next boot system was repairig, is it possible to deffective driver can act like this?Leave a comment:

I have 830 g5 whic after installing all drivers and updates from windows update - laptop screen turns black with top weird artifacts(photo attached). After that laptop dropped in bootloop and after while and next 24hours working properly without any problems - memtest passed, what can caused this?... -

Hello, i have 840 g3 with w25q128fviq bios chip missing, i have dump from w25q64, can anyone reconstruct dump for 128 chip?
