The laptop works fine, the problem is that the battery does not charge. The battery is detected by the laptop and displayed in windows. The bq24800 battery charging integrated circuit was burned, the 10 ohm resistor on VCC and a mosfet on the charger. I replaced the Bq24800 with the Bq24780S and the measured voltages are those in the picture.
The resistance between ACP/ACN pins of charging IC is 0.
The resistance between pins 18 (SRN) & 19 (SRP) on the charger IC is 20 ohms.
I even have the charging light.
What can be the problem? Thanks.

I replace the bq chip and the laptop work, but i have another problem. With my external power supply the laptop charges but with the original charger it does not. The charger plug is that rectangular one and I don't know if the problem is with the central pin, although from my power supply I only have 2 pins and the laptop charges.Leave a comment:

You are right, I was very lucky especially because it wasn't my laptop, but my power supply went crazy, it jumped from 19v to 61v. The charger doesn't work, I identified the BQ24800 integrated circuit. It wasn't powered because the resistor on Vin was open. Hello. I have a Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 laptop. I did a big mistake, more precisely I powered a laptop with 61V instead of 19V. I found a shorted coil and injected 1v. TPS65993 is heating up. I powered it through the rectangular plug, not through USBC. It is possible that this integrated circuit has burned out. I can't find a datasheet. TPS65994 can be found at Mouser but I don't think it is a good replacement. This TPS65993 is PD controller.Thanks. Motherboard code is HLG30 LA-L916P. -

Samsung Qled QE58Q60 restart
Hello. I have a Samsung qled model QE58Q60TAU.
The TV restarts continuously and without an image. If I disconnect either half, the TV does not restart, but in both situations I have absolutely nothing on the display, only the backlight is on. I checked the CKv signals and the rest VGH, VSS etc. I measured them against the ground and between them and found between VGH and VSS a resistance of 106 ohms on the B side of the screen (right). I isolated all the signals on the right side and covered them with scotch tape and absolutely nothing has changed, it doesn't restart but I have no picture... -

I need help with a laptop Dell with LA-D801P motherboard.
The laptop completely died, no power, no leds.
The voltage of 19V is present at the output of the second mosfet.
The voltage on Pin 9 and 19 of PU102 is 0V.
Voltage on
PU100 :
pin2 =19v
pin11 =4.16v
pin12 =0.18v
pin17 =0v
pin19 =0v
I have 0 ohms on the coils PL100, PL301 and PL700.
If I remove pjp102 the short remains on the side of +3VALW.
Then I removed pjp501 and pjp801 but the short did not go to the integrated PU500 and PU800.

Laptop HP250-G5 mainboard LA-C701P
I have a problem with an HP laptop model 250 G5, mainboard LA-C701P. The integrated PU2 is ok, being replaced, but the problem is with the 3.3v LDO voltage, the 5.5V LDO being ok. On pin 15, instead of 3.3V, I have 3.16V and a consumption of 150m, the integrated only supports 100mA, it gets very hot. I injected 3.3V on pin 15 and the consumption remained at 150 mA and there is nothing hot under the thermal chamber. I disconnected the resistance towards pin 125 from the integrated UK1 and the consumption dropped to 0, and I assumed that the consumption is from the integrated. I replaced it with... -
