Hello.I have exactly the same problem, MOCKINGBIRD-L CML UMA 8L (19746-1) motherboard and Dell Latitude 3510 laptop, the power light comes on for a second and then goes off, I have 5V and 3V. Laptop not power on.The battery is not charging but it may be dead. I have no strange values on the coils. I want to ask you if I need to have 1.8v alw for this motherboard model. I would like to start from here.

Nothing is hot under thermal camera. If i plug only the adapter without battery, the motherboard is taking 10mA but when i press de power button is taking 80mA for a few seconds and than is taking again 10mA.Leave a comment:

Hello. I have a laptop Hp 250 g7 - motherboard GPI52 LA-J951P and not power on. I have 19v, 3v and 5V and the battery is charging. When i press the power button is doing nothing. The button is good and have 2.6v and makes 0V when i press it. I measured the coil and is ok, not short and the valors is good. I rewrite the bios but is the same.When i connect only de adapter without batter it take 10mA and when i press the power button is about 60-70 mA. Nothing is cold and under thermal camera i can t see anything Thanks.... -

Hello.I have a very strange problem with a Dell Latitude 5511. If I turn it on in the morning it works perfectly, charges the battery and everything is ok. Then I turn it off and it starts again, and then if I turn it off, it doesn't want to start at all. Now it doesn't even charge the battery and if I press the power button the orange light comes on as long as I hold the power button down and then the orange light goes off if I don't hold the power button down. Then if I wait a few minutes the laptop can be turned on and works perfectly and charging the battery. I only see the problem with the... -

Hello. I have a problem with an Asus FX506L, motherboard DABKXDMB8F0 rev.F. It arrived dead to me, and after changing the Bq 24781 the 19V rail appeared. Then I discovered that the EC chip IT8987VG is shorted. I took a chip from an HP laptop and after soldering it, the sources were activated and 3.3V, 5V and 1.05V appeared, and 1.2V oscillated, and the problem here was with a mosfet with a short between GS. Now the voltage is ok, but the laptop does not start, probably because the EC chip has an Hp bin instead of the one for Asus. Now the laptop doesn't want to start at all. The current drawn by the board is 10-20mA but sometimes 130mA. I noticed a strange problem with the PUZ1 integrated circuit. It has voltages on pins 10 and 29 = 5V, on pin 22 = 19V, but on pins 23 I have 0.1V but also 5.9V, on pin 24 I have 0V but also 1.7V or 4V, and on pin 12 I have 0v or 0.6V. These voltages change if I put a drop of isopropyl alcohol on the PUZ1 integrated circuit (RT3612). Before ordering the RT3612 I said I would try to program the EC chip and I would need a bin. With the battery disconnected and only the charger plugged in the laptop it show Critical low battery. I measured the voltage on Bq chip and look good, i even change it.Leave a comment:

It s the same motherboard. I did this, I have 2.9v on the ACDET pin. Now the laptop starts completely, I have all the voltages but it shows Critical low battery on the display,and than off. If I inject voltage into the battery it doesn't chargeLeave a comment:

Hello. I had the same problem with the DC jack, but the laptop still did not work. Now it turns on, but it shows Critically low battery and then turns off. The battery is completely discharged. It is ok. Thanks. I don t have the original charger and the battery. If i want to start the laptop only with my power supply, the laptop not started. I must disconnect the bios battery, reset the bios and then the laptop starts. I have o battery from another lenovo laptop but it have 11.5v and my laptop need 16v. But if i put this battery, the laptop start when I press the power button and don’t need to reset the bios. I tried putting a 1.8k resistor between the ID pin and ground, but the laptop still won't turn on and doesn't recognize the charger....Leave a comment:
