Hello All.

Bit of a weird one that's got me stumped. I picked up a Macbook which wasn't seeing the internal SSD, I managed to repair that issue (broken trace) however the macbook speakers dont seem to work.

When you operate the volume up / down buttons the display comes up with a "no entry" sign underneath the speaker for some reason? Sound works OK using bluetooth speakers / headphones, but nothing on the inbuilt ones.

When I look in System preferences / sounds there's nothing listed as audio?

Anyone got any ideas?

Liquid damage, cleaned with isopropyl.

Don´t boot in SMC Bypass, it tries to turn on without luck (check voltages, for example 5v usb intermittent).


I have two chargers, one is an original apple magsafe 85w 16.5-18.5v 4.6a max. And 60w generic clone.

Sometimes Stays with orange light, fan OFF. No heat.

I have a macbook pro 13 A1502 on my hands with a backlight problem.
After the measurements I noticed that PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT shorted to ground, in order I removed the following components:
C8300 and C8303 and always at pin 1 of both short circuit present;
D7710 short circuit present at pin 2;
R7731 and R7732 and short circuit always present;
C7713,C7714,C7715,C7716,C7717 and short circuit always present;
I also replaced the LVDS connector but the result hasn't changed, even without the connector on the logic pin 1 is shorted..... what...

Your firmware did not dump properly, too many 0xFF. Please do it again, and this time verify the dump with what is on the SPIROM....

It turns on normally, but when the user/password window exits there is no longer any video on the macbook screen, there is sound, I have a backlight because it turns on and you can see the apple. So when I connect the external monitor I have video on both screens and when I disconnect it it disappears

Our two files are identical except for our series blocks which are different.

my problem was hibernation mode can write any bios to my laptop and just write serial number to the file and correct the checksum?

i still request help sur mon probleme post 54.

No. This is my request for help to the guys. I wrote about it a little higher. If you don't care about a specific SN in your MACBOOK, you will probably find a ready-made file in this thread. There were several of them....
