Has anyone discovered if the M2 LCD works with the M3 board on the 16" I believe these are the same LCD? I know the M1 and M2 work on the 16" but does the 16" M3 LCD work with M2 LCD or M1? Curious if anyone has tried this yet?Today, 10:52 AM

I have a problem with windows activation. The laptop has the original version of windows 8 included by the manufacturer. The laptop worked on the original activated key for several years. Recently I wanted to try to see if I could still upgrade to windows 10 (it was a mistake). Of course, the time to upgrade to windows 10 has long since ended and my key was rejected. I came to terms with this and wanted to reinstall windows 8, I downloaded the system from the windows website, after starting the procedure it showed a window to enter the key, I entered and to my surprise now also...Today, 09:49 AM -
hi all, got this macbook with dead trackpad. after some investigation i found that fuse is bwlown. it's marked with a K on it. anyone kjnow it's value ? it is a 0402 package.

Hello. Coming to you from the laptop forum. Have a client with the Fortinet 50E that has 320 Mbps as internet input speed but only 20 Mbps output on each and every downstream port (using FAST.COM to benchmark).
Reseller is stating the Fortinet is 'worn out' which does not sound logical at all unless the flash memory is 'worn out'. They, of course, want to sell another + onsite installation fees.
Can anyone share feedback on this unit? What can cause this sluggish behavior. From our knowledge, this device is snooping on the traffic to halt viruses / hack attacks, etc....04-24-2024, 12:51 PM -
I have a pair of DJI FPV Goggles v2 that the backlight on one side LCD screen does not light up. Obviously I have tried already to switch screens and ribbon connectors, it's not that. I've inspected things under a microscope and can't see anything wrong with the connector or otherwise.

Hello,
I have an HP 14-dq0055dx laptop here that came in for boot looping. It was previously taken to another shop and they tried flashing a BIOS firmware to the chip, so I cannot take an original dump. For a second or two, a message will come up on the screen that says:
This loop will go on for as long as you like. I let it run for about 12 hours and came in the following morning and it's still looping.

Hey folks, I have this iPad Pro 12,9" 4Gen A2232 here with no charging issue. The main fault was a crossed pins / faulty USB charging port due a bad cable.
So I started to replace this parts:
- replaced usb-c port -> no result
- replaced battery -> no result
- replaced usb-c chip CD3217B12A -> no result
- replaced 343S00326 -> no result
- replaced 343S00327 -> no result
- replaced 343S00328 -> no result
I have no more ideas for this issue. There is no short on the whole board, and the iPad is working fine...Today, 05:37 AM -
TV: JVC LT-43C888 (purchased in 2018). This is a smart TV with Netflix, Youtube, Freeview and other applications via 'Viewd' app store
Problem with TV:
- Netflix stopped working so i tried to do factory reset from the TV menu.
- I confirmed on-screen but the factory reset did not happen even. It did not take me to 'first-time installation' screen as mentioned in the manual.
- After waiting for some time, the TV went into a boot loop.
- JVC logo comes on the screen and LED light flashes for some seconds, then it reboots again and the same thing happens

I recently purchased a used MSI GS66 with password locked bios.
If I'm understanding correctly, I can fix this by re-flashing the bios. Except I need a copy of the original bios because the updates don't have complete information.
Maybe I need to download my existing image and copy information (something something DMI) from there to the newest BIOS update downloaded from MSI?
Or maybe I'm supposed to request for the original, if any has it unlocked can they send it to me?
