it can't be decrypted. Try this file, pass was deleted. Also try entering 3 random passwords with your original bios, see if you get a disable code....

if doesn't turn on it means either you didn't solder chipsets properly or you didn't make good backups of bios chipsets....

use HP BCU to read DMI with original bios. (you'll find videos on youtube or guide here in this forum). Write the file I provided and at 1st boot enter bios setup with F10 and in MAIN tab reset bios to factory defaults. After that use again BCU to write DMI back....

I will try to explain how I remove passwords in Unowhy:
1. Open bios backup file with hex editor.
2. Search for text "AMITSE".
3. Copy hex values found under "AMITSESetup" entry into a text editor - sometimes there are 2 strings of 32bytes each - see photos
4. Fill with "00" hex strings of 32bytes found under "AMITSESetup" entry
5. Search for hex strings of 32bytes copied in text editor -you'll find them in many places, sometimes in 5-6 places. Fill them with "00"...Last edited by volinakis; 04-10-2025, 09:45 AM.

1st thing use BCU (BiosConfigUtility)with your original bios+EC to read your DMI, using cmd line "biosconfigutility /get:1.txt" -you'll need to write back your DMI.
write both chipsets with files I upload. At 1st boot enter in bios setup with F10 and in MAIN tab reset to factory defaults. Wait for 2-3 mins, laptop will restart few times with no image.
Use again BCU to read again DMI ( "biosconfigutility /get:2.txt"), open 2.txt and fill empty fields with values from 1.txt (Product Name, Serial Number, SKU, BuildID, Feature Byte, System Board CT Number, CirrusSmartAmpCalibrationData,...Last edited by volinakis; 04-08-2025, 12:39 AM.
