I have an issue with a Dell BIOS. I've been working on it extensively without much success. It doesn't save the new service tag with any of the versions I obtained from this page:

I already tried that dump; in my case, it didn't work. The device stopped functioning after a BIOS update from Windows. When I opened the original dump, I found that it had extra characters in the header. I corrected it, but it still didn't work. After that, I tried all the files I could find without success. Most of them work, but after the second boot, it stops working again, and in all cases, the keyboard doesn't work....Leave a comment:

Hi everione!!!
I have this notebook, an Asus FX517ZM that due to an error in the BIOS update stopped turning on.
I managed to put together 2 compiled bios. 1, the equipment turns on, but the screen does not turn on, the caps lock works so the equipment has activity.
The 2 turns on with video and everything works, but the fan does not start.
Could you help me? I am missing something in the assembly.

Open the file with a hex editor tool, select block 62E000-64DFFF and copy, paste it to a new file then save it.
That is your 128kb io firmware.
