on older hp, caps blinking non stop was a chipset problem. -

easy question.... are sensing resistor ok ? r7121 r7122 (10omh each) u can check pin 27-28 of u7100 if it's 20 omh. also check r7151 r7152.Leave a comment:

fan spin for 1 sec then stop and no loop or it do fan spin every tot seconds ? when u plug magsafe, fan spin then stop and stay in stop mode also if u wait like 60 seconds ? check bios area, bios spi connector for corrosion, check cpu data lines. also check r1270, r1275 also l1290, l1275 and so on in that areaLeave a comment:

2,25 : 0.900
1,25: 0.640
0.88 : 1.220
0,9 and 1,2 i have to remove board as they are on the other side of it.

macbook air m1 820-02020 cant restore on reinstall osx.
hi all, just got this macbook from a parent. it was previously water spilled. my cousing took it to a repair shop where they cleaned the water spot corrosion and make it boot again, but they were not able to reinstall osx. after that my cousing bring it to me, but im facing same problem. neither in dfu, usb osx installation media , neither internet recovery works.
in disk utility, it see 245gb ssd, i can inizialize it and start reinstalling osx, but at some point it will give me error. i read somewhere that it could be a bad caps, but all values loks good. i checked also pp5v_s2 coil and... -
for data transfer i think they need to swap cpu, ssd , t2 chip. it's not an easy task so i assume price is not in the low level....Leave a comment:

if u have a thermal camera would be much easier to spot where the problem is.... also sometimes a caps get shorted only when a certain of voltage is appikied, with all the risks that it give...Leave a comment:

update. after last bios flash with peste bios, laptop was dead (no more power on), so i put original bios back and without erasing eprom i put your bios on it, with same dead laptop as result. thinking i may have damaged the notebook and in addition my bios adapter was a chinese crap quality that smell like burn plastic i put the laptop aside for a while. today i got new adapter and flashed your bios with normal programming(erase blanc checking write, verify) and after reassembly it it started and all is working perfectly.

try to do a discharge and fully charge. after it's fully charget let it still plugged for some 2 hours more. see if it fix the problem. also cdo a smc reset or pram.Leave a comment:
