by SkrndeljHello all,
I am repairing a Macbook A2337 and i have a problem
The Macbook is stuck in restore as someone before me tried a DFU restore and bricked the device, now i can't do a restore as AC2 throws error 1 which is related to the trackpad.
When i turn on the device i get the trackpad click for a few moments and then nothing, i tried 7 trackpads and 7 trackpad flats, i know all 7 are functioning okay, especially one as i use it for testing and DFU restore.
I inspected the whole board and everything seems fine.
Can anyone help me as i didn't fiddle with trackpad...Yesterday, 04:26 AM -

by Mark R"TQ" Subject at hand is a Marantz 120 tuner. The tuner lit up but no output. Recapped the entire unit. Before it was working fine tuning in Stereo and Mono. Now it just about tunes Stereo and some of the mono stations are weak. Nothing else was changed. When you do hit a stereo station the stereo lamp will come on but flickers as it's trying to hold the MPX signal.
I don't see how bringing the unit back with new caps checked by my Sencore LC103 would effect the FM section. Every Value is as it was from the factory?
Any Thoughts?-

by ProttHello dear badcappers!
The title pretty much says it all - do you, please, know if there's any way to troubleshoot which of the integrated RAM chips (LPDDR5X in this case) is faulty?
Backstory:
After replacing the 4 onboard (soldered) memory chips on a RoG Ally (4x4 GB to 4x8 GB) it got stuck on the RoG logo. I assume one of the chips is either not soldered properly or faulty. However after reflowing and replacing bunch of them I am still stuck at the same place.
If there is a way to narrow down which memory module is faulty it would make my...06-03-2024, 12:05 PM -
by marcinas1983Hello! I have a similar problem as the author of the topic. I'm starting to learn how to repair electronics. I bought a damaged Zotac GTX 1060 3GB graphics card. I measured what the author of the topic measured and I attach a photo. The card core is slightly warm after power-on. Does anyone know what could have been damaged? It's a FSP HP600S.

It's probably easier to buy a new one, but I don't want to throw it in to the trash and I want to try save it.
There is two burned component (SOT-23) on the circuit, which marking is burned off. I need some help identifying it to replace them. And a burned smd resistor.
Thank you!Dear forum,
