I recently bought a CH341A programmer, but I’m still not 100% sure what to do next. I couldn’t find any tutorials specifically for the HP Elitebook 835 G11, so I’m trying to piece things together.

From what I’ve learned so far, the process looks something like this:

1. Use the programmer to read the chip.
2. Save a backup of the dump.
3. Open the .bin file in Hex Workshop.
4. Replace certain lines with “FF”.
5. Write the modified file back to the chip.
6. Boot the laptop → password should be gone.

I have an IdeaPad Flex-14API (SN:MP1QW0DQ) that has a supervisor password. This is NOT a pre-8th-gen Intel system. This system has an AMD Ryzen 3500U, which released around/with 9th generation Intel.
Immediately after pressing the power button and the unit turns on, the system asks for the "system password" in a small box in the center of the screen.
I would like to remove this password. My understanding is that the autopatcher only works with 8th gen or older Intel systems. I confirmed this belief when the autopatch script itself threw an error when trying to tweak the bin...
