I need help with telemetry systems and startup handshakes for the NM-F301 motherboard. My motherboard starts and then shuts off after roughly a minute, but my technician says it's virtually impossible to the issue without the schematic for NM-F301.

Please let me know if any information is missing and I think any Revision would help him find it.

Hi, a newbie here,
I have a ThinkPad X13 Gen 1 Ryzen 5 with a BIOS-locked motherboard (it works fine except I can't change the settings). I want to know if dumping the BIOS with a CH341A and patching it with the Lenovo Autopatcher would work, or if I should use the MXP method: https://youtu.be/kaRdq-tnJdU?si=luhAMFHCz1zrooJZ .

My PC battery died in the middle of a BIOS update. Now I am just getting a black screen. I have used the CH341a programmer to read the original BIOS. I also obtained a clean BIOS dump from this thread. I am using UEFITool to read the bin files. I have read in places that there are specific portions of my original BIOS that need to be written to the new .bin file before writing it back to the chip. Hi everyone,

My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
Laptop stopped booting entirely.

I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
i then attempted the following:

1. Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
2. Trimmed it to 16MB
3. Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
4. Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
5. Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
6. Injected back my LDGB / DMI

After flashing the bios with a programmer, the power LED, after connecting the battery charger, flashes 3 times without turning on. I put the original bios back but nothing. I replaced the bios chip but nothing. Any ideas?

When you press the power key, the processor fan starts a gentle cycle and then stops
Is it possible to modify the Dump Bios to address the problem of it not booting?...

Hi,

So i got above mentioned laptop. Which shows only some little signs of life.
When i turn it on, 3 buttons lit up and stays like that forever (ESC, Caps Lock and Num Lock), they dont blink, they are just lit all the time. Fan does not spin, and there isnt any heat from CPU.
What ive already done:
-Flashed both bios chips 16 and 8 mb.
-Tried adding another stick of ram
-Check if backlight is faulty.

So any ideas?

I was in a middle of a bios update and accidently turned my laptop off. Now, my bios is corrupt and I am greeted with a "Do you want to recovery rom part" screen.

I have a Lenovo E15 Gen.3, motherboard NM-D481 with a defective USB-C port. The device starts with battery. When connected to the USB-C power supply, it does not start or charge. 20V is present at the input of the UT5 (High voltage USB PD power switch), 0V at the output
UT5 pin 3 (SNK_PS_EN) =0V
RPT3 Pin1+2 LDO 3V3 present
I suspect that the UT2 USB-C power controller is defective because the UT5 is only controlled by the UT2. However, the UT2 supplies on pin 33 (+LDO_3V3) which makes me wonder if it is defective after all. Unfortunately I don't have it here to test it.

Please share the schematic or boardview files for this Mainbord. Got a fried chip/device on the mainboard, and would like to fix it, and check the other both near the fried chip too.
I need to know the model and type of this fried device. Its maybe an capacitor, but am not sure.

I have this notebook that won't charge.
In Windows, the charger icon doesn't appear on the battery, but the charger turns on the notebook normally.

PU301:

Pin 5 (ACOK) - 5.97v
Pin 6 (ACDET) - 1.83v (should have 2.6)
Pin 16 (REGN) - 6v

PQ308 has no gate voltage, so it doesn't drive PQ309 low

With the battery connected, its voltage goes the reverse way to the jack, having 14v and not 20v:

PQ301 e PQ302

Pinos 1,2,3 14v

Pino 4 5v

Pinos 5,6,7,8 com 14v...

I have a Lenovo Legion 7 with the following specs:

• Ryzen 9 5900HX

A problem started suddenly overnight. The next morning, the laptop wouldn't boot properly — the RGB lighting on keyboard turned on, fans spun for a brief moment, but the screen remained black, and the Caps Lock key didn't respond (no indicator light).
When running on battery power, the laptop would stay in this state for about 35 seconds before automatically shutting off. When plugged into AC power, it would keep restarting every 35 seconds. Holding the power button would shut it down, but...

Lenovo G565 Laptop onboard LCD Display does not turn on.
Only works with external Monitor.
I am trying to verify that the LCD signals from the motherboard are ok.
The LCD was working, but over time happened to not turn on more frequently.
Now dead.
Possibly the cable from MB to LCD is broken somewhere.

I just wonder how it is detected if external or internal monitor shall be activated ?
