  • Hi,

Just received a used board that also ligths up the series lamp like a christmas tree...... but work´s perfecttly on the TV.
The original board, also ligths up the lamp, but I never came across a NON shorted power supply, that ligths up the series lamp. Never pluged it directlly to AC with fear to burn the applied components again.

The original board is NOT shorted, but isnt still funcional.
I will use the "new" board to compare components.

    Best regards

    Hello,

Need help with this dead tv.
    Power supply: BN44-00520C

    Found this burned components: FP801S 4amps fuse / DS814 and DS815 both 1n4007 / DS806 1n4007 and CS809 22pF 1Kv.
After all changed pluged only the power supply to AC with a 40W bulb in series..... It ligthed up strong.... so we still have a short.
Didnt find any shorts, made the purchased of the ICS801S (SQD2011K).

Today it arrived, but no changes at all.... still shorted power supply.
    Also checked QP805S / QP806S both MDF10N60.

    Hello momaka.

No this power supply does not have rellays on it.
Not sure where this 5v should be generated..... I have tried to compare several components by checking both boards but cant find any diferences.

Give me your tv part number and I can check in my database where is your problem.

    No joy with the transformers.

Checked and compared the voltages of both boards and all are the same, even the 380v boost on the caps.

The only diference is the 5v detect that is at 0v at pin2 of the CN802 connector.
On the good board the 5v are present

    Hi,

Just received another Samsung but with same power supply.
Changed it and problem is on the power supply.

I have allready changed from one board to the other ICP801 / UI801 / UI805 and problem still presists in the defective board.

I will change the 2 big inverter transformers.... lets see if it works

    Understood.
    Fuse is OK
But there is no backligth even for a split second.
And Sansungs should lit up the backligth if the main is disconnected.... not this one.

    Hello,

I am strouglling with this TV.
Model: Le40C550J1WXXC and inverter and power suplly BN-4400340B

It boots up normally, but no backligth.
I have check the PFC resistors from 814 to 818 and resolder all of them, I get 380Vdc on the 100uf 450v caps.
    I have checked DP803 / ZDM806 / QM801 / ZI802 / QP801 802 / QI801 803
    Replaced IPC801 fan7530
All solder joints were checked and also the electrolitics for capacitance and ESR.

I am lost, can someone help me with this issue.

    Best regards

  • Re: Tv Grundig Vision 2 22-2920 turn off after 2 secs

    SOLVED,
Received bad transformer, and it had good readings in the primary and secondary sides.
Replaced transformer from a scrap board. It was also a blue transformer from 17IPS15-4 power supply with diferent part number TMS93700CT.

    Hello,

I know this is an old thread.... but I have the same set, with same PSU.
Initially I had no backligth....just sound and image (visible with a powerfull torch).

I went strait to the transformer, one of the secondary winding was 1.8K the other was correct 1.3K.

Changed it with same part number, and still no backligth.
To avoid dissassembly the LCD to check the lamps, I plugged 4 laptop screens (old ones with lamp) to the tv. Only 2 will ligth up for 2 seconds.

    Hello again,

All 14 CCFL tubes were tested individually with my tester.
On the Q707 there is only 18v, it should be 24v from what I have read online.
But I have no schematic from this PSU.

I have followed this topic, but the fault is not the same, I dont even get a blink from the tubes:

    Hello,

Tv not starting correctelly... goes out of standby with green led and back to standby.
    PSU: EAY38639701
All caps in PSU were ESR and capacitance tested, inclunding the problematic ones on the mainboard C227/543/958/853/959/970.
    PFC is 395Vdc
If I bypass the ERROR pin in the plug 201 and connect it with a 100homs resistor to the 5v rail, Tv work´s with sound but no backligth present.
All voltages on p201 present with the bypass.
    Not sure what to do...???

    Hi,

As stated in my first post, the transformers winding were tested, out of circuit.....Now I dessoldered them again to write values.... didnt find much diferences between them:

    1º transformer:
    Primary 12.35R
    1º secondary 828R
    2º secondary 830R

    2º transformer
    Primary 12.35R
    1º secondary 841R
    2º secondary 841R

Not sure if this diference will make any change....
