locate the tcon flash memory, remove entirely its solder and resolder it.

I already read all posts , if you want to follow my advices lets continue, otherwise i can quit.....

I see no steps in that post.. test G-D indicates you don't have a short in that junction and you don't have to replace IC that controls mosfet.. let's do things short, touch 3 legs of mosfets with something conductive to discharge them, then in diode mode try every combination of pins, (6 tests) ,no one must show near zero volt. STOP..

i suppose it to be Lc-70le735x / Lc-70le735.. anyway it seems somehow a reduced vgl, maybe a tcon probem, maybe screen stripe board, disconnect tcon outputs one at a time and show the results, photo is better than video please..

so you have a 0v between S and D all the time? if you turn black to D and red to S can you read the internal diode drop (0.5v)? And not least, do you read a short between D and G?...

OMG....tv must not turn on normally, main board is detached and isolated, cannot load any software, only tcon circuitry must run, must cycle full screen colours.. is a self test built in the tcon.. tcon is likely be ok, panel maybe is ok, but panel circuitry can be shot, since no load is.present on the.main board cable, maybe 12v rises a bit more and shorted component goes full short, two ways now, check panel strip boards for bad caps, or put a resistive load on the 12v to lower.it and retest screen..
sorry, third way, an.ATX power.supply can provide around 10,5v when using only...Last edited by Davi.p; 07-23-2024, 03:48 PM.

Can i know how do you measure them? Usually is enough in diode mode every combination of pins, when mounted no one must show a drop near zero volt.

How do you measure the led output voltage? Must be measured ex. from Out1+ to Out1-.. From what i can read the schematics there is an high power boost for the + outputs that it is supposed to be maybe near the 350v caps voltage, then another less power booster for the negative outputs, maybe a power charge pump, it has also 350v caps on it with the + on GND, so since each channel is near 700v, strips are in series of 2, then each strip is supposed to have near 350v.... i think you must inspect both positive stage and negative stage power components for short.. let me watch later which ones.. maybe...Last edited by Davi.p; 07-22-2024, 12:07 PM.

Hi, this is a quite old laptop but i bought in a Same As brand New state (very rare), i think is not as old for simple web browsing / tasks, i NEED it!.. my first suspicion is almost sure or very kindly bios eprom error, now two sad things, the flash chips seems bad, totally unresponsive, not as bad, but i saw the PC was sold in versions 1.x and different not compatible versions 2.x,mine has a simple 2 on a row printed on eprom label, it is 16mbit and ver.1.x file is for 8mbit, so surely ver. 2, obviously i find all v.1.x files and not v.2, i appreciate especially the original upgrade executable,...

both things wrong.. in the early posts you tested only odd pins, pins are in 2 rows, you wrote the signals marking as them are one only thing but are 2 signals in a row, power on-off is one thing, A5v is another and you are measuring A5v only..
second thing, i want you to bear with original board for now, checking ic905 i mean the pins voltages respect to GND, i guess this is a voltage reg. but not sure, tell eventually its code..
