Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out for some help with a problem I've encountered with my HP Elitebook x360 1040 G6.
I recently noticed that my computer wasn't powering on. After a bit of investigation, I discovered a burnt component on the motherboard. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure what this component is, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance in identifying it and determining if it can be replaced. Hello all,
I am repairing a Macbook A2337 and i have a problem
The Macbook is stuck in restore as someone before me tried a DFU restore and bricked the device, now i can't do a restore as AC2 throws error 1 which is related to the trackpad.
When i turn on the device i get the trackpad click for a few moments and then nothing, i tried 7 trackpads and 7 trackpad flats, i know all 7 are functioning okay, especially one as i use it for testing and DFU restore.
I inspected the whole board and everything seems fine.
Can anyone help me as i didn't fiddle with trackpad...Today, 04:26 AM -
Got a LG with color static frozen. Doesn't move just stays on this picture. I'd assume it's main board but I'm sure one of you has seen this before. Any data helps thanks...Yesterday, 09:35 AM

Hi all,
got my hands on a Samsung UE60JU6800K, initially it apparently had a bunch of white circles on screen which I confirmed was due to loose diffusers when I opened the set up and found a mountain of them at the bottom. The person I got if from stored the TV unused for a lengthy period after this so when I got it the backlight was completely gone. I took out the strips and almost all of the LED's have a crack on the yellow phosphor form the center of the LED outward, the ones that don't have this crack seem to work still (Maybe due to humidity after a long period?). Most Displays I have worked with are of course LCD Or Blueish Fluorescent Types. I Have a Marantz PMD800 tuner with sort of a white display. The display area is a sealed rectangular shape in a Glass Case. Looks like some sort L.E.D. display only not your typical section number type. I picked up this Tuner cheap as the display is very Dim. In front of the circuit is a dull red Plastic lens.
The display is very week and hard to see. I've got my DC 5 Volts allover and also a DC 32 Volt that runs some other section. Power supply looks good front to back. Not familiar with this type...06-07-2024, 07:19 PM -

Don't suppose anyone knows where I might find the lid switch/sensor. I'm building a custom PC using the board and want to be able to access the bios via hdmi external monitor. Schematics unavailable. The board in the back of the monitor is listed as a "sensor" board but I don't see how it would work in it's location. Might not even be able to access the bios this way and I might need to run a small screen just for Bios changes but figured it can't hurt to ask...Today, 04:40 AM
