Hi.
Am about to use the patcher software on my Dell 5440. I opened it up to use my CH-341A on the bios chip but noticed it had 2. My CH-341A only has the connector size [ATTACH=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"medium","data-attachmentid":3610785}[/ATTACH] for 1 of the chips. Which chip in the picture do I use to read and write to?

1 - 0.5K ohms
2- 1.10K ohms
3 - 37K ohms
4 - 0.8K ohms
5 - 0.7K ohms

Well I changed the MOSFET and the laptop is still doing exactly the same!! On and off every 3 seconds. So frustrating.
Is there anything else I can try? I'm determined to get this going.Leave a comment:

I think I might change the MOSFET anyway. I have some old boards but none of them have a QA3112 on them but I found a board with 22CF FDMS3660S MOSFETs which looks similar. Could you compare them and let me know if they would be suitable? Many thanks....Leave a comment:

Just found another MOSFET below the one I just measured (with a coil between it) and its exactly the same QA3112
Source to Drain - 1.2M ohms
Source to Gate 1 - 1.5M ohms
Source to Gate 2 - 2.4M ohms
Gate 1 to Drain - 180K ohms

I can't understand then why laptop is completely dead with the new BIOS file but powers up when I put the old corrupt BIOS back on it 🤷🤷🤷Leave a comment:

Thanks but think there is something wrong with this BIOS.
When I program the BIOS, the laptop will not come on at all or show a power or charge light and is completely dead , but as soon as I put the old BIOS back on it, it responds as it did before. So think there is something wrong with it....Leave a comment:
