Hello,
im actually trying to save a d1500 delay from yamaha. I found the service manual but schematic is missing and BOM list is a bit unclear as components listed have no reference linked to the pcbs... In my case, one zener diode was broken (114 code on the pcb in attached file) and couldn't be repaired : it was a zener type package. In the BOM list i found 3 reference on this board : 1S555 (can be replaced by 1N4148), RD4.7EB2 (approx 5v rectifier), RD7.5EB3 (approx 7v rectifier)...
Actually the cathode goes to VCC of sram M5M5118P, without this diode missing, i have...

by tccyo22Hey all,
I've got an ASUS laptop (Asus X409DL Rev 2.0) that had a little liquid spill on it however the majority was on the daughter board for the I/O stuff which is connected over a ribbon cable which I have disconnected for now. A small bit of liquid did however get onto what schematics and boardview show is a DC step down IC; a Realtek RT8249CQGW - markings: 2N=. There is no short on the main power rail as I have 19v with the charger plugged in however I have no other power, standby or always on rails anywhere on the board. by grimacelordHello,
I have an HP 14-dq0055dx laptop here that came in for boot looping. It was previously taken to another shop and they tried flashing a BIOS firmware to the chip, so I cannot take an original dump. For a second or two, a message will come up on the screen that says:
This loop will go on for as long as you like. I let it run for about 12 hours and came in the following morning and it's still looping.

by jkrunsHello everyone,
This is my first post after browsing this wonderful treasure trove of knowledge for many, many evenings. I've decided to learn how to fix these things, properly.
My patient is an A2338 Macbook Pro M1 (late 2020).
It had some corrosion around JT710 and JT700 caused by liquid spill, as well as against the protective barrier around the USB-C chips UF000 and UF100. So I took the main board out and cleaned it with a toothbrush and alcohol, then with alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaned the touchbar flex connectors as well. The board looks...04-22-2024, 06:45 AM -

by Matthieu vKHello,
I got my hands on a 2e hand 360 s6 vacuuming robot i wish to repair.
Unfortunately, a common (and mine) problem is that the radar, used for navigation is not working.
a second unfortunate thing is these problems seem to have many different causes, from dirty lens, to stuck hairs so it can't move, to broken down radar module to a faulty PWM (mosfet?).
the issue I am dealing with is what I believe to be a faulty PWM.
I have come to this conclusion as this seems to be an issue that others have dealt with also, but I have not found anyone...04-29-2024, 05:32 PM -

Trying to get a device for EMMC repair, and it's very difficult to lookup all the words to find if I'm on the right track lol.
Trying to reprogram EMMC on Sony/Hisense mainly but would like to hit a few other brands.
My question is would either of these work? And is there a specific card reader I need for TV emmc? There is like 10-40 additional pieces that I can get but not sure what I actually need for my application only.
