i was looking for patch tool here yesterday but did not find it ( maybe because i was search for laptop model number only )
but now thanks to you i found it
back to my proplem
after many attempts flash the bios chip using rt809f
all end up with the same result as above ( no power with orang led when prss power botton )
i try ch341a programer using neo program with your file and the laptop working great
after i write service tag and prsseing alt + f to exit manufactor mode
just to be sure what was the problem i reprograming the...

I HAVE DELL 5510 BOARD NUMBER FDW50 LA-J381P THAT CAME TO ME WITH LOCK BIOS
SO AFTER I FLASH BIN FILE THAT WAS PATCHED FROM ORGINAL BIOS FILE USING TOOL FROM GET HUB
THE LAPTOP NOT POWER ON AND ONLY THE POWER LED BECAME ORANGE WHEN PRESS THE POWER BOTTON
I DO NOT HAVE THE SERVICE TAG BECAUSE IT IS ERASE FROM UNDER COVER
I ATTACHED THE ORGINAL BIOS FILE
I USE RT809F PROGRAMER
IS THERE ANY THING TO DO WITH THE 8 MB BIOS CHIP
CAN ANY ONE FIX THE BIOS FILE OR GUIDE ME TO THE PROPLEM IS IT THE PROGRAMER
OR THE OTHER BIOS CHIP

It is old but i have the excact proplem with exact pins volt but io pin 74 vcc is 3.3 and when i inject 3 volts on +3vs line the motherboard take half ambs on power supply and i have power led and charge led on

the problem is power on with no display
note: when i read the ec chip there was error in detect pin 7

Hello all
i recive this hp laptop with caps lock 5 slow and 3 fast blink error which indcate bios error
the motherboard numper is FPW50 LA-H325P1 REV 1.0
sn CND131133V
the laptop seems to be bios programed before so i read the bios chip and attached the file
but i think i have to modify this file or it culd be the wrong file programed by some one else
so is there any way that i can find the right bios file because i try some bin files with the same result
i read that i need to modify DMI and some another things in order to be able flash the bios ...Leave a comment:

Well my friend i think your problem is the backlight enable signal (bklt_en) or so you can test it by locate the signal on led connector pin
or on the screen panel there is a test point (which is a small dot ) with bklt_en next to it there shuld be 3v on it
if that is the issu you can bybass it by a jumper from 3 v coil or from the screen it self
also by a jumper from 3v fuse to the bklt_en point on the screen panel

OK you need to check what is the combonent that gettig hot is it the gpu chip with (nvidia) word on it
or the pch that has big letter ( i ) on it
i still sugest to try boot the lap top without hard drive because some times it is just slow hard drive that slow down the

my friend is seems like a pch or gpu proplem
on the other side of the motherboard (bottom) there are the cpu,pch and gpu chips
the nvidia card is not integrated card
if you have some expirance i sugest to isolate the nvidia gpu first or what it called (dis to uma)

Try romove the ram and star the laptop with out ram memory see if any changes done
is the laptop has an ec chip (the io memory chip) if yes you need to flash it too
if no you need a working bios with the same cpu as your laptop...Leave a comment:

DELL INSPIRON PS_ID PROPLEM AND FIX
Hi
I had a nice dell laptop yesturday,the proplem was it is not charging...
i try another orginal charger with no luck also another battery no change either
the famus massage that the ac adapter wattage in not reconize by the laptop always show at the boot
in the bios the ac adpters is unkhown
so it is a motherboard issu, first i download a boardview to know what i am abut to deal with
then i extract the motherboard to start trace the voltage
the 19.5 line was ok but the ps_id was 4.2v it shuld be 3.3
the signal came from super io chip so that where... -
Well my friend just do this steps
1 - remove the main battery and cmos battery if they installed
2 - carfuly unplug screen connector on the motherboard and check for any damage or dust on the connector
3 - after you check the screen connector replug the screen caple or if you have external monitor try connect it via vga or hdmi and power on the laptop
as for the heat in the marked area .. is it from the bottom side of the board maybe pch or graphic card just see what is it and replyLeave a comment:

As mon2 said it is just caps
the best thing to do is replaceing the three of them at any expert repair shop and no need for warranty or simply remove them if you have a some soldring skill
