Yes it was. Yes the sabotage was fixed when I made the switch pins. But now the only problem is that the supervisor password is stuck and I tried to remove it but couldn't. My last request from you is what can we do to remove the supervisor password?... -
no my real purpose was to do maintenance on the computer.
that's why I opened the bottom case and pressed sw1401 it didn't work
i tried a few bios dumps because of this
but the password protection didn't work

Hi, I'm having this annoying problem where each time I power on the computer, this tamper error message comes up, forcing me to hit escape so that i can boot to desktop.
I've tried enabling and disabling this option in bios, resetting bios to default, setting and deleting supervisor passwords, none of that worked.
I've also tried removing and putting the cover back on, checked for any visible spacing on the laptop case, no luck.
I'm not that frustrated, but it still is kind of annoying....Leave a comment:
