Help Identifying ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 Board Components

Hi Everyone, hopefully somebody can help me.

I have acquired an ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 with a faulty 10GE port. It's locked at 100Mbps. A component on the board went pop but I'm not sure what it is. If anybody has a schematic or knows what the component is I'd be extremely grateful.

I have attached pictures highlighting the thing that went pop.

Any help is appreciated. Nothing else around it looks damaged and a quick check with my multimeter seems to confirm this. I tried taking one of its brothers off and measuring it but, when I tried to grab it with my tweezers it decided to launch its self into another dimension. So figured I'd ask the experts before I try taking any more off.

    Thanks for your time.

Going by the colour (which seems to be black) I'm guessing an inductor or probably ferrite bead (or maybe an un-labelled resistor).
SMD ceramics are usually white or brown.

A ferrite or resistor will generally only blow up if something else is shorted, thus pulling too much current through it, however.

Going by the position, resistors. And if they burned, most possibly the ports on the network IC have been damaged also.

Does it have another port, and that works correctly ?

If it works on 100Mbps as he mentioned, probably the IC will be fine. That popped resistor means a lost wire pair, so easily can mean 100Mbps. Lets hope that there was just something dodgy on that port and the resistor saved it.

@OP:Any news? My tip would be to measure the resistors next to it (I bet they all will be 0-10 ohms) So use one that is similar.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Help Identifying board components - iMac 2017 21.5

          2017 iMac (Mid 2017) A1418

I'm not quite sure how this happened but a couple of components got ripped off the board when removing from the Logic Board from the iMac.

          Can anyone help identify them?

I'll have to do the trace repair on the board before soldering on replacements but would prefer to order the components rather than get a whole scrap logic board off eBay.
          Thank u

Asus UX7602Z Liquid Damage - schematics or help with components identifying required
          by Kazik
Hi, I received a Liquid Damaged Asus UX7602Z for repair. I've cleaned the motherboard and found couple of damaged components. Two of them (near the battery connector) I can't identify. One is a resistor of unknow value, and the other one is probably a transistor. Laptop won't charge the battery without them. Please see the pictures and help with components identifying. I couldn't find any schematics or boardview for this laptop.

          Laptop model: Asus UX7602Z
          Motherboard: UX7602ZM, R2.1

          Can you please help?

          Thank you....

ASUS STRIX Z490-F GAMING - No POST, stubborn board
          by DynaxSC
          Hi,

I have this very stubborn ASUS mobo on the bench, and I already face the wall with it. It just refuses to POST, although everything seems to be OK.

          The situation looks like this:

After connecting the board to the power supply on Nuvoton (SLP_S3#, pin 64), the Low signal (50 ohm resistance) appears immediately. PWRNTN# signal goes through Nuvoton to the chipset (confirmed after removing the chipset). The following conditions are then met for the chipset to generate the SLP_S3# signal:

          1. RTC oscillates normally (32.768KHz).
