by moscastHi everyone, I have the same problem with two Dell notebooks. One has the EDC41 LA-G891P motherboard and the other has the EDC50 LA-901P motherboard. Both do not turn on and the processor also heats up a little.
In the coils there are 3.3v - 5.1v - 13v - 19v - 1.8 - 1.05V and 1.0V prime core
On both notebooks, if I press the power button the LED turns red and if I release the button the LED turns off.
What could I still check before saying the processor is dead?
Thank youToday, 01:22 PM -

by ub6ib969Hi,
working on a ASUS ROG STRIX GL702VSK 60NB0DZ0-MB1260 that does not power on. At the PQ8900 PIN2 (P_CHG_ACMOS_G_20) I am receiving 24.7V and PIN1 (P_CHG_ACMOS_S_20) 20V, however when I place the PQ8901 P_CHG_ACMOS_G_20 it drops 0V. I don't have the replacement mosfets ( N-MOSFET QM3058M6AC PRPAK5*6
UBIQ) however will any N-channel mosfet with similar parameters work ? I also found that PCI8703, PCI8701 are shorted. any help would be grateful.Today, 04:34 PM -
by PITERPENYthere is no reaction, it hangs at 20 V/0A. There was a little corrosion in the u7650 area. Replacing the u7000 did not help. Tell me, what else could it be? PPBUS_G3H=12.9V

by GraphicManHello guys
Because the unit is old (but only occasionally used) the loudness button causes some noise due to bad contact,
sprays did not work, so i decided to solder the pins that it connects on the pcb at the on (loudness on) position
i did that and it worked fine, i know from the bottom of my heart that the switch connects 2 pins and also d/c other 2 pins
on every position it have (6 pin switch), so i was curious what would happen if i clicked the switch off while the pins are soldered at on (so basiclly on and off at the same time), when i did so the sound is gone, nothing...-

Laptop gives no signs of life. No fan and no CPU heat.
Think Engine BD4179MWV is hot on plugging in *AND* pressing the power button.
Discovered short to ground on VCC5M power delivery IC NB690GRP (5 volt line, not the high current VCC5M_PD) which is one of the ways that chip is powered. I'm puzzled.
Nothing else is warm on the board. CPU resistances are OK, 9V VSYS line is present from the BMIC. All misc and cables are disconnected.

by CraigRI have a 12v psu from a DJ lighting system and I can not seem to figure this one out. The board so far had a blown fuse and a shorted voltage regulator. After replacing those I get 12v out but hooking a load to it the voltage seems to bounce between 5v and 0v. I remove all the caps and checked those and replaced 2 that were only questionable. I know it's not the device I connect it to as I put 12v to it with my bench power source and it works fine....Today, 02:25 PM

by terugerHello guys
My laptop have a FAN issue, i tried with a new FAN but the issue persist.
The motherboar is LA-G714P
I measured the JFAN1 connector
pin 1: 5v
pin 2: 0v FAN1_PWM
pin 3: 3v FAN1_TACH (this pin should not be 0v if the fan is off??)
pin 4: GND
Tanks for advance!Today, 01:27 PM
