The Name is Getac ux10 Tablet, S/N RL803U0026 to get the motherboard model and to see if the bios chip is readable or what it may even look like intails removing about 50-60 screws and a big project. I don't really want to do that unless someone has actually unlocked the bios or know what to do, otherwise I have a box of parts I need to reassemble. TIA for any info.Leave a comment:

Getac Tablet Bios Password.
I recently bought a bunch of Getac ux10 tablets and the bios is locked on all of them. Does anybody know of a way to get into them or reset them? -
Nintendo switch dead.
I got in 2 Nintendo switches that appear dead but the amp meter shows charging. I removed the board and just the plain board plugged in with no battery and it draws 0.10A so I checked for shorts and did not really find anything but under the thermocam I see the MAX77620A chip lights up on both of these. I never had to replace that chip before. Is this common and just my luck I get 2 in a row? Or is this normal and I should look elsewhere? I have also replace the M92 and BQ with same results. -
Sorry should have posted that it was fixed and was an intermittent issue with the power cord setting the light off. Weird....Leave a comment:

Hp x360 15-u499nr power light flashes continuously.
I have an Hp x360 15-u499nr laptop with a continuous white blinking power light. The laptop does turn on. The light flashes with just the battery and if I disconnect the battery and just use the power cord it still flashes and with both connected it still does. I have updated the bios and tried a hard reset with battery unplugged and power cord unplugged and holding down the power button for 60 seconds. I can't think of what else to try. -

Diode Identification marked "DK"
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but I need help identifying a surface mount rectangle diode and all that is printed on it is "DK" it seems to be open so I can't read anything off it. It's in a HP laptop by the power switch. TIA for any help. -

12v PSU help please.
I have a 12v psu from a DJ lighting system and I can not seem to figure this one out. The board so far had a blown fuse and a shorted voltage regulator. After replacing those I get 12v out but hooking a load to it the voltage seems to bounce between 5v and 0v. I remove all the caps and checked those and replaced 2 that were only questionable. I know it's not the device I connect it to as I put 12v to it with my bench power source and it works fine....

Another Cheap TCL issue I need some help with
I have in a TCL 65S4 TV that is dead it seems. I did some research and looks like everyone says backlights. I managed to get the screen off in one piece and checked the backlights with my tester and all are working same brightness. I got it back together ok and tried turning on again in a quiet place and nothing no screen even with halogen light against the screen. Next thing I see popular is the power board so got one from eBay from a "cracked screen" tv. And still nothing. Could I have another bad power board or go for the main board right away? Can the experts tell me how I can check...
