I'm trying to enable this Asus X512DA. This model came without backlit and I ordered a keyboard with backlit. As I've been searching on the internet, It seems that the bios as to be modified at the offset DD to 7E. Since I don't have enough knowledge to the task, is there anyone who can make it for me? I attach the original bios file.

Please help sir, this board does not turn on because VSYS_OUT is 9.2v, I compared it with a normal board VSYS_OUT is 10.2v, I have replaced the PQ101 and PQ102 mosfet and BQ 25700 which is known to be good, but the results are still the same, thank you

The mac mini won't power on.
Voltages on U7800 are all good except

PP5V_G3S is missing too

Well, I think this is the first time I'm sharing something here, I hope it will help anyone that, like me, is trying to repair one of those damm ASUS motherboards filled with iRog chips. I've written a manual following my experience and findings on fixing a dead ASUS Rampage IV Extreme (R4E).
The ZIP file contains the guide and (almost) all the software I've used in the project. But I think it's worthy because it took me a lot of time to find out a cheap way to work with these chips from Explore with a bare CH341A programmer, and the original EP Console program is really hard to find....Today, 09:50 AM -

I have Microwave BOSCH CFA634
It runs, but after 10 -15 seconds stops working.
Sometimes it shows error E1006.
I can't find this error explication.
Some people say it's communications error between main and display module.
Probably somebody has an experience with this issue?

Hi everyone,
I have been working on a no power issue with my personal ASUS gaming laptop. It went dead a few months ago.
Some history:
Since then, I've found a blown mosfet on the GPU line which I replaced. It started up without a battery, then when I added the battery back it wouldn't start up again.
As a result, there were some blown components around the BQ chip. (The BQ chip itself - BQ24780S, the low side battery mosfet (shorted), and a resistor -> all replaced)

I am trying to downgrade my bios on my Alienware so I can undervolt & overclock my CPU, and overclock my ram. I need to get to bios 1.2.2 for this. Dell doesn't allow downgrades, and their bios file is an exe compiled in c++, so I can't decompile it easily. I am wondering if I can flash the bios manually using a usb flasher. I would like to know if this is possible, and if so, where the bios chip would be. I know flashers are pretty cheap and the bios chip is 8-pin. I have a macbook pro A1706 820-00923-A that won't start no signs of life, no liquid, checking the voltages I found PP3V3_S5 was shorted, I removed all the processor coils, but when I 'injects a voltage it is the processor which reacts, can you confirm to me that this is definitely coming from there please?
I have 20V on the usb-c connector, and 13v stable on ppbus_g3h.
I saw that a track had burned out on PPVIN_2V7NAND_LB after resistor R9350
I injected voltage on L7660 pin 1 in short but only the processor reacts
