Looking for working dump for a PROSCAN PLEDED4022-UK with mainboard TP.SIS231.PT851 with screen V390HJ5-XCPE1 or a working dump for the same screen and main board.
I have looked on the web without any success for the dump of the Proscan TV.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I suggest you learn how to use google translate to put your language into English! This is an English language forum. Don't expect answers if you write in Italian....

Let me explain a little further the switches have when this fault occurs has a resistance within the switch ( call it leakage). The solution that I have found you need to physically clean contacts I use wet and dry sand paper first inside the switch (replace the switches if you wish however finding suitable dimensions for them can be tricky to find). As good measure I then use electrical contact cleaner inside the switch. Reassemble the switch and on to the next one. All of them must be done to prevent any reoccurrences.
I have found it is very tricky to determine which of the switches...

It's certainly not static electricity that Davi.p suggests! It is not a touch sensitive board but a switch button board BN41-00989A As Lotas has stated it's the buttons leaking continuity. I have done this repair on this board many times before. You can carefully disassemble the buttons and clean them with WD40 or equivalent Contact Cleaner spray, I usually clean the contacts with wet and dry inside the switch and on the round contact inside. Be patient taking apart all of the contact switches with a small flat bladed screwdriver. If your not capable replace the BN41-00989A or just remove it from...

I agree the yellow plastic part needs to come apart from the main red part. I have looked carefully inside the battery compartment to see if there are any screws that would allow removal, unfortunately nothing obvious as you can see!
I have also removed the black cap on the front of the unit to see if there was any screws under that. No joy there either.
The whole you refer to is only a plastic cutout to allow the black probe to be stored inside as pictured in the last couple of images. There are no screw holes there either or blanking pieces!...Last edited by cheeky2; 06-05-2024, 03:47 AM.

Anyone know how to take apart a Fluke T100 Voltage Tester without damaging it?
See attached picture. I have a Fluke T100 Voltage Tester that the resistance and diode measurement isn't working (it's not the batteries (as I have already checked them and put decent Duracell 1.5V AAA batteries inside it).
I have looked on the web for any information and on youtube without any results for this model.
There are no screws visible or anything obvious. So I am hoping someone here has the solution to take it apart?
The only way I can see is underneath the yellow rubber handle area, however I don't wish to damage it if it isn't the case!...

The panel is a VES480UNDL-2D-N01 which really I guess is the critical bit as I have found a cheap main board in Uk less than £10 delivered, but I would need the panel file for the 17MB110 which I assume is different from the 17MB97? Do you have that panel file available for this main board? Out of interest what's the exceptions generally as it would be useful to know for future reference so I can prevent making any mistakes in future? I guess they would be down to wireless card used (which I possibly may have to change for the original main boards config), the infra red connection and the remote...Last edited by cheeky2; 05-25-2024, 04:26 AM.

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...Last edited by cheeky2; 05-25-2024, 03:35 AM.

Indeed it does take off some of it, however when you have the screen on it is barely noticeable. I have also used the Tcut on monitors as well with a reasonable amount of success.

I tend to use Tcut for getting scratches off the screen. The thought came to me when realising that I have used it before to clean the front lenses of the headlights on cars before. This works providing it hasn't gone through very deep, but worth a try You will need to clean the screen after use though.
Good luck

You have different options of postage selection when ordering Aliexpress. The cheapest option is normally selected which is the longest to deliver. They will have options to select faster and more expensive shipping select the appropriate shipping delivery timescale.
Personally I wouldn't bother ordering from the seller vinceroger69 recommendation but use this seller https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006209602127.html? who's cheaper and quicker to delivery of April 7-11 if ordered today.
Look through carefully when ordering to ensure the same leds inside your TV are the...Last edited by cheeky2; 03-20-2024, 06:29 AM.

Ok just been reading more information. It now makes sense to transfer my details which are at DMI 3C1000 - 3C11FF onto this bios which should make it operational again. I compared my bios with this bios file yesterday and found too many differences which made me believe the issue was the bios file was missing a load of data. I will patch it up now and reprogram the flash ic again. Hopefully it will be resolved shortly!

Thank you for replying Peste.
I did see this when looking for the file, however as I rarely look at bios files for laptops or computers and patching them I am somewhat lost. I have been reading up on it over the last 24hours to try to understand how to go about patching it. Can you point me in the right direction how to patch it as the file doesn't contain my serial number etc. I am happy to learn but so far the tools I have looked at don't appear to be used with this bios, unless I am missing something?...

Just noticed I haven't included the board model number which is 15283-3
So to recap :
Model number of the laptop Lenovo V110-15AST
Board model number 15283-3
Serial number: R90RKPK6R
From bios screen EC Version 1PEC21WW
Manufactured:18/09/2010

Unfortunately I have the later version of bios loaded onto my motherboard which means that I am guessing the EC version is different! This bios is 1PCN60WW and my bios is the latest being 1PCN73WW. I have just checked the hard drive and found it is indeed 1PCN73WW bios. I have tried it with this version and the screen boot loops with the backlight screen enabled and then powers off and on again (which is constantly repeated. I can access the bios using the Fn2 key but cannot get it to boot up or show Lenovo logo. Could someone help me out with the attached dump from the laptop please as it has...Last edited by cheeky2; 02-28-2024, 09:12 AM.
