On recent HP platforms commonly referred to as AI-generation systems, unlocking MPM (Manufacturing Programming Mode) in order to reprogram DMI information has become significantly more difficult compared to earlier generations.
The level of firmware security has been raised substantially, and solutions that were previously effective on older platforms (for example, G11 and earlier generations) are no longer applicable or reliable on these newer systems.
