Lenovo P50 dead with burned motherboard
Hello.
I received a P50 in very good shape that is dead and smelled burned board when on power supply.
I strip it and found a heavily burned area, there should be some cap but now are smoke.
Not sure where the one copper trace stops and starts the next, they seem mixed probably due to heat, this is my main problem as i'm not sure where should i solder what, so any help is appreciated.

Nothing special.
After some 0v measurements and various type c chargers i inspect the type c charging connector with microscope.
There was some kind of corrosion on it, so with some contact cleaner everything are back to normal now

Lenovo Thinkpad T14s completely dead.
Hello.
I received a T14s Gen1 ( NM-C891 motherboard ) that is completely dead, no indication of life at all.
I tried hard reset without RTC battery and short both pins of it for 1 minute but no luck.
Since it's type C connector i have no idea what to measure or where to inject voltage, so any advice are welcomed
Thank you in advance!

Ok so with 1v and 5a a small cap became a little hot, without thermal camera it would be impossible to track it.
All good and laptop power up and charges battery as well, the problem now is that integrated screen doesn't light up, with HDMI i get image juat fine.
I'm not sure if it's only the backlight or the complete screen since the digitizer is not helping me to see clearly if there is image on dark screen or nothing at all.
Only i can see is that screen has some reaction when i power up the laptop (like it's trying to light up momentarily) but unsuccesfully....
