    Quecoo T12-958 soldering station - INVER error?
    by spleenharvester
    I bought a T12-958 recently with an M8 handle and until now it has worked very well. The tip wasn't earthed but that was easily resolved.

    Now, whenever it is switched on, it heats up to about 70*C then shows an [INVER] error on the screen and stops. In order to fix it I have to either unplug and re-plug the handle, or unplug and re-insert the tip from the handle. While doing that it changes to [ERROR], then it finishes heating up and works perfectly. Until it's turned off, after which it will show [INVER] again next time it is turned on.

    Any idea what the problem is?

    ThinkPad T14s Gen 1 boot loop (instability)
    by mrfree2ita
    Hi all, I'm looking at what seems to be a nice puzzle

    A ThinkPad T14s Gen 1 that stopped working more or less a month after the warranty expired. I tried to boot both Windows 10 and Debian 12 from a USB stick. In the first case, the system just reboots after showing the Windows logo for a few seconds, while I'm able to see the Linux kernel crashing if I boot the second in failsafe mode.

    Interestingly, some times (unfortunately it's difficult to replicate) I manage to boot into Debian 12 live. Moreover, the kernel doesn't seem to crash always at the same point during...

    BIOS HP 14-ax113la DA0P9MB26A0
    by karlox
    Hello! Greetings, can someone help me check the BIOS backup programming of this laptop? I backed it up with NeoProgrammer, but when I transferred the code to the chip, the device's power LED turns on and then immediately turns off. The tragic thing is that it was working; I made a backup because I replaced a chip that was causing the battery not to be detected. I tested the device and it worked, the battery was detected. However, as a method I sometimes apply when working with devices with power issues, I erased the BIOS IC and reprogrammed it, but this time it failed. I downloaded the BIOS from...

    ASUS Vivobook 14 OLED M3401QA not posting
    by Luke11037
    Hello everyone,

    I have an ASUS Vivobook 14 OLED M3401QA which is not posting. Currently when plugged into power/turned on the power indicator will illuminate and the battery indicator will flash white roughly once every 3 seconds. Leading up to this it would sometimes turn on and then other times not turn on, furthermore it also showed a screen saying "new cpu installed, fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed" and then a screen telling me to recover the bios however it is no longer even posting at this stage.

    The diagnostics steps I have attempted...

    Macbook Air A2337, 820-02016-A stuck at 5V
    by Jonnx
    Hello everybody,

    I have seen a lot of posts about the A2237/A2338 about the 5V not boosting up to 20V issue, but none of them seem to have the exact problem as my board does.

    My PPBUS_AON was measuring ~9.32V and the board kept power cycling, so I removed the fuse F5200 to measure PPVBAT_AON_CHGR_REG and indeed it was still 9.32V, but the board stopped power cycling. Then I measured U5200 values and got this:

    U5200:
    PPDCIN_AON_CHGR_R = 5.144V
    AUX_DET = 1.287V
    VDD = 2.767V
    VDDP = 2.767V
    AUX_OK = 0.848V
    AMON = 0V

    by Omron
    Hello Guys! I have trouble with my car radio Kenwood KDC 3051G I hope someone more knowledgeable can help me, I tried everything in my power that I stumbled upon online.

    My radio is permanently in demo mode, it says Press Volume Knot Cancel Demo and when I press it nothing happens.

    - Tried to unplug radio and plug it back in into power,

    - Tried to reset radio by holding reset button key for 5,10,30 seconds while in power and without power, plugging it back in, it wouldn't work.

    - Tried to hold 3,6 while turning it back on and then pressing 1,2...

    IT8176 replacing
    by Francisco.s
    Hi, I have replaced a IT8176 in a Lenovo nm-d281 motherboard, and need to know how to program this keyboard controller.

    The initial problem was an erratic behavior of numeric key pad, due to one of the IT8176 keyboard pins was shorted to gnd.

    Now it completely doesn't work. I tried to R/W new chip with Vertyanov programmer but don't know which pin of the 34 pin keyboard connector have to be connected.

    Does somebody know how it should be connected to Vertyanov or Svod programmer?...

    Samsung QE82Q70RAT no backlight
    by sansanpartida
    Hi everyone!

    Hope you're all having a great day, and thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to read this post to help me with my parents' Samsung TV.

    My issue: No backlight.

    Model: QE82Q70RAT
    Type No: QE82Q70RAT

    The TV was already serviced by Samsung once under warranty for the exact same issue, but six months after the fix, the backlight went out again. Now, Samsung is asking for nearly the same price as a brand new TV to fix this with the same 6-month guarantee.

    So hopefully, I can fix this cheaper.

    Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
    by cheeky2
    I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
    Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...
