Kenwood KDC 3051G Car Radio permanently stuck in Demo Mode please help

Hello Guys! I have trouble with my car radio Kenwood KDC 3051G I hope someone more knowledgeable can help me, I tried everything in my power that I stumbled upon online.

My radio is permanently in demo mode, it says Press Volume Knot Cancel Demo and when I press it nothing happens.

    - Tried to unplug radio and plug it back in into power,

    - Tried to reset radio by holding reset button key for 5,10,30 seconds while in power and without power, plugging it back in, it wouldn't work.

    - Tried to hold 3,6 while turning it back on and then pressing 1,2 , nothing happened still in demo mode asking to press volume knot.

    - I opened front radio panel and cleaned all contact with alcohol brush, still same. I sprayed WD Spray onto volume knot button while its opened still same.

    - I retouched soldering points of volume knot button if it had cold connection to resolder it back on, still it doesn't work,

    - Tried resoldering other buttons too, in case some was stuck or something it didn't improve at all.. Still asking me to press volume knot button.

Anyone has any idea what can I do? Tried other radio, it works perfectly so its not my installation. Thank you everyone for reading this and specially to those who are willing to help me out! 😊

Looked into buttons today, buttons on side have 4 pins each, two are parallel in continuity and two across should be only in continuity when button is pressed. They have around 1200mOhm resistance and when pressed 0 resistance.
Found out the power button was basically always pressed in permanently, thus nothing was working correctly. What I did was cut small rubber tube and put it onto button, then spray with WD and with small screwdriver started to click it so WD ingredients go inside button and lube it up and clean it up.
After doing this for 20-30 seconds I checked with Multimeter and it was working like charm, not even needed to de-solder - solder new one, saved me a lot of time and hustle especially since i didn't have spare button.

I think you have to press the function button first, before you press the volume

                  clock radio / radio lifespan?
                  by shelby5041
                  hi
ive got a modern digital clock radio approx 15yrs old

my question is how long can a clock radio or a simple radio last ss farcas operating hours?

since elec components have limited hour lifecspan i would imagine the radio or clock radio would eventually fail.

the reason i ask is because i have my clock radio on radio function 24/7 for the past 7 years and its still working fine....i leave the radio on ..never turn off past 7years...thats approx 60000 hours

it uses very little power just a few watts i would imagine that may have something...

Vintage SONY Digital Clock Radio ICF-C12W no audio
                  by UserXP
                  Dear all,

I have this old radio clock by Sony from the early 80s, I guess. The clock display works, but is dim, the function board appears to be OK - but the radio unit shows no signs of life. It doesn't produce a single noise, crack or anything from either FM or AM band. It's like it doesn't even power up.
i opened the radio and it is full of some TRACON gray capacitors. They only have their negative strip printed, voltage and capacitace markings - no series, no temperature marking, nothing else.
My question is, do you know of this brand of capacitors and how bad are...

LG xboom PN5 stuck in demo mode(?). Looking for retail firmware.
                  by FlashFireSix
I took an ebay gamble on an LG xboom pn5 speaker which was listed as having battery issues (turning on then off).

I got it earlier today and concluded it's in a demo mode because of the following:
                  • When it's plugged in, it'll turn on and the power button will not turn it off
                  • Battery is healthy, reading 4.2v and not swollen, charges according to the xboom app
                  • the play/pause and volume buttons don't work
                  • You can pair to it and play music fine, as long as it's connected to power
                  • The bluetooth connection is disconnected after 5 seconds of audio pausing
                  • The DTS setting is defaulted
                  ...
