  • Hitachi 32HE2200 No Wi-Fi

Hitachi 32HE2200 Wi-Fi doesn't work but LAN works. Nothing happens when trying to scan wireless networks, it says please wait and then doesn't do anything. My other TV is working so I don't think there's anything wrong with my connection. I tried a factory reset and a using a working Wi-Fi board 17WFM21 with the same spec as the original but it still doesn't work. Any help would be welcome.

  • Tested all the weird looking grey caps and didn't get any readings from these ones, in either direction c1 c11 c12 c13 c14 c17 c21. All the others gave a reading or started charging up. I cleaned all the pots and put it back together and all my problems went away. Don't know if I disturbed something or just got lucky. Thanks for your help, I will update if anything changes.

    SAMSUNG HG40ED450BW Striping Picture
    MAIN BOARD BN41-02217B BN94-08383W
    POWER SUPPLY BOARD BN44-00754A

Power board has steady 12.1v . TV works normally for about 30 mins, then has striping at the bottom of the screen. Heat sink on the mainboard feels hot. If I turn the TV off and back on again the striping is still there. If I wait until the heat sink is cold, the TV works normally again for about 30 mins. Any help would be welcome.

  • I managed to crack the screen on the TV so it was scrap and I left it thinking I would sell the boards on Ebay. I bought an Hitachi 50HYT62U for £15, it was totally dead but the seller said the screen was good so I thought I would risk it knowing I could sell the parts for a profit If I couldn't fix it. Three of the diodes tested short so I cut the legs out of circuit and found that just the middle one was short. With them all out of circuit the fet under the heat sink tested short as well. I noticed that the power board on the JVC was exactly the same model and part number so I tried it in the...

  • I've just found out what my problem was, one of my LVD cables was damaged, I tried another cable from a TV of the same model and used a piece of paper to mask the clock signals on the faulty side, (as suggested by lotas above, with picture), and now the TV is working perfect. I couldn't find any LVD cables for the TV, so I searched for the number on the cable 30107739, on Ebay and found some for a TOSHIBA 50UL2163DBC 30107739. I fixed the other TV as well, it had a similar problem but the screen was all light blue with no picture and it was the opposite side which had the fault. The TV cost me...

  • I've just fixed a Bush S642F - PSU - JSK4260-050A - REV:1.3. The standby light was flashing red, on and off repeatedly and the standby voltage was jumping between 1.5 and 3.5 volts. I changed the 3 caps behind the connector block, (I think it was PL807) and then got a steady 5v reading and a solid red standby light. The TV powered up ok with a blue power light, but it wouldn't get a signal to tune in the TV stations. It worked fine with a Youview box through the HDMI so I sold it to someone who just wanted it for his PlayStation.

  • Re: Toshiba 58UL2B63DB Suspected Bad Panel

You unclip the cables one at at time and then turn on the tv to find out which side has the problem. Then you cover the first 8 contacts on the right hand side of the cable that had the problem.

  • Re: LG 42LM620T No Power

I already checked them and all the diodes transistors and the bridge rectifier and didn't find any shorts. I will take your advice and see what happens, it was a free tv so nothing to lose, thanks.

I used a paper strip just wide enough to cover the first 8 contacts on the right hand side of the cable that had the problem. Tv is still good now.

  • Samsung PS-50A457P1D Sound but no picture, Fixed

This had heavy dust build up behind the long thin metal plate covering the buffer board at the bottom of the TV. Cleaning the circuit board brought the picture back.

They all read 1.58 in diode mode
I checked the other board and they all read 1.57 apart from 2 which read 1.56
