Most Displays I have worked with are of course LCD Or Blueish Fluorescent Types. I Have a Marantz PMD800 tuner with sort of a white display. The display area is a sealed rectangular shape in a Glass Case. Looks like some sort L.E.D. display only not your typical section number type. I picked up this Tuner cheap as the display is very Dim. In front of the circuit is a dull red Plastic lens.
The display is very week and hard to see. I've got my DC 5 Volts allover and also a DC 32 Volt that runs some other section. Power supply looks good front to back. Not familiar with this type...

Hi, I have this Dell Inspiron 15 5000, label says P102F and P102F002. It is completely dead, no charging lights. Any help with troubleshooting? I'm not even sure about the motherboard version, maybe the attached photos could help.

Hello all,
I am repairing a Macbook A2337 and i have a problem
The Macbook is stuck in restore as someone before me tried a DFU restore and bricked the device, now i can't do a restore as AC2 throws error 1 which is related to the trackpad.
When i turn on the device i get the trackpad click for a few moments and then nothing, i tried 7 trackpads and 7 trackpad flats, i know all 7 are functioning okay, especially one as i use it for testing and DFU restore.
I inspected the whole board and everything seems fine.
Can anyone help me as i didn't fiddle with trackpad...Today, 04:26 AM -

Tried removing all hardware still nothing
Left the battery on charge all day, the next day it was only reading 3 volts.

Don't suppose anyone knows where I might find the lid switch/sensor. I'm building a custom PC using the board and want to be able to access the bios via hdmi external monitor. Schematics unavailable. The board in the back of the monitor is listed as a "sensor" board but I don't see how it would work in it's location. Might not even be able to access the bios this way and I might need to run a small screen just for Bios changes but figured it can't hurt to ask...Today, 04:40 AM

Hi guys,
I currently trying to figure out why the laptop of my friend did not charge.
It is a Acer AN515-42 (Ryzen 5 2500U), I manage to make it works on AC and battery but no charging.
At first it was not working on Battery, I discovered that PQ201 was knocked off and replace it => work on battery precharged on another computer.
I also checked the small resistors between PQ312 and PQ201 and even if they are ugly values are OK.
My issue, when I plug the charger computer off, it drains 0.25A during few seconds with amber light on (charging) then amber light blinks...Today, 02:54 AM -

the laptop turn on without battery
i found shorted mosfet on smbus battery i remove it the laptop turn on with a battery but not charging
the big problem is the laptop is very slow
cpu works with low speed almost 0.7ghz
i do clean me bios but samething
