Hello. I'm having a problem with an asus laptop. All I know is that a younger user enabled secure boot in bios (and maybe something else) in order to play fifa 23 (i heard it's some sort of safeguard of the game). If i connect the power supply the laptop automatically starts with the solid red led and stays like this forever with no display. Sometimes the fans kick in (because it overheats i presume). On battery it's the same except i can turn it on manually by pressing power button. I've already replaced the ram and disconnected hdd. I've even reprogrammed bios (I've made a backup of the original...

Thanks. I've downloaded the firmware but I don't know if there is any special procedure I have to do to apply it? I've connected a 32GB USB flashdrive with firmware folder on it, turned the TV on but nothing happened

Hello. I have a Sony KDL-49WD757 (2016 model) that shows only SONY logo after turning on. Or rather it turns on as soon as i connect it to the wall socket. (I don't have a remote for this model, only for some older one and i'm not sure if its compatible) It displays it for 3-4 seconds and then it disappears and I'm left with empty black screen with just backlight on.
What could be the issue?

The led at the bottom is constant white. It reacts when i press for example power button at the back of the tv but the TV doesnt turn off. It blinks as long as I press the button and stops...

Is it possible to somehow remove bios password in this notebook? I flashed bios to the newest version and it's still there. I extracted bios files and tried to change some flags in the .ini file but without luck. Removing the battery does not help. Maybe there's a way through shorting some pins r something else? Thanks in advance.

the same problem, laptop not charging and it wouldn't turn on on battery + notification about operational temperature. Without battery it worked normally. ...

Hi, I'm from Poland and I wanted to thanks you for helping me fixing my Dell. I had the same problem as OP and I found a bad capacitor - PC5 marked on the diagram (near EC58, EC59, EC60 someone mentioned earlier)





I removed it, connected the battery, and...

it helped! no more "operational temperature" notification, charging works as expected, anyway
