zz0.8tpitu4y0i8zzI bought a ch341a (I'm waiting for it to arrive) and I noticed that the programmer has a bug that the data pins go to 5v when the VCC pin is at 3.3v (which is the voltage I'm looking for).
Instead of doing the 3.3v mod, I'm thinking of converting the 5v to 3.3v with an 8 channel TXS0108E through the ZIF socket but I don't know if that would work, because it has to circulate voltage and also information.
What I am looking for is something that will convert from 5v to 3.3v but without modifying the ch341a.

Hello guys, can someone help me with an eMMC dump for a Sony KDL55W-955B TV, I tried to read the original memory with the RT809H but it shows me that it only has 1888MB even though it should have around 3.8GB. On a new memory it shows me 3776MB. From what I found on the Sony page, the following models could also be compatible:

Hi all, just curious if the BL_ERR signal is active high or low? TV has the 6 blink error code and I've changed the backlights as they tested questionable (4 strips tested - 203VDC, 203VDC, 203VDC and 175VDC). The new strips all tested at 175VDC. Now when I turn it on, it tries twice to come up and then the 6 blink code. During the this time the BL_ERR pin is high and drops low momentarily, then does it again on the 2nd try to boot (so Im assuming active low). The other thing is the backlight voltage ramps to ~280VDC from around ~160VDC and then back down as the TV tries to boot again. Does...06-03-2024, 07:30 PM

Hey guys! I've recently found out this amazing forum where people talk and discuss about electronics repairs and i'm actually amazed with everything that here's have to offer.
Oh well, i came here looking for a simple bios file in order to get my main laptop working again, but after a while trying to figure out what the hell was going on, i'm quite concerned that it would be worse than i tought. I was fooling around with Mr. Smokeless's UMAF BIOS mod, looking for a way to enable CSM compatibility and legacy boot on my device.

Hi fellow lifesavers.
I have a Samsung washer-dryer WD80N645OOW which died mid-cycle. No response to anything, completely dead.
Checked the socket, the plug fuse, all good. Took it out to examine the boards.
There is a relay clicking on the mainboard. Upon applying power, I can see a diode flashing on inverter board, after a while a diode on main board lits up for a split second, then I can hear a relay clicking. This repeats a few times, then everything dies completely.

Hello everyone!!! I recently got this Philips Smart TV model 43PFL5766/F7 E without power. After some troubleshooting, I found a short in the main board, while injecting voltage noticed a component getting hot, removed it and voila! short released. I cant find any information about the component I took off it reads FZN 910. I'm attaching some pictures of the component itself and the board for reference. I am still working on an Lenovo e14 AMD notebook with some problems. The laptop booted normally but had a ton of problems with the soldered ddr4 memory. I tried deactivating the memory via bios, but that didn't work.
As i have a matching donor here, I decided to change the module i suspect to be faulty and exchange it with one of the donors.
Did so, but now the laptop won't boot anymore.
Anyone here who already did that and can comfirn, that exchangeing one module alone would work? Or do I need to exchange all 4 of them to make it work?Today, 02:42 AM -

I found two capacitors on the board and one of the leads on one capacitor had bad soldering joint and the other joint connections not much better and there were several soldering joints that way to much flux around the joint redid several of them
The capacitors were a non brand that I did not recognize they got replaced and now it does not oscillating between relay but what concerns me a little bit is when the voltage is a little bit low the output voltage is around 130 volts and then drops down to 115 volts this happens around 105 to 108 volts if remember correctly

[FONT=Arial]I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. [B]If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes[/B], then fades black again.
