JBL Charge 5 IC Identification ( TL Version )

Hi everyone

I have a JBL Charge 5 speaker that I need to repair

I would like to know if anyone knows the identification of this charging IC, it is a BQ chip , I am attaching photographs for your recognition, it goes in the place where the red circle is...... I think it is marked as U38 on the pcb

I search for pcb photos, but cant find sharp one, maybe in some video with microscope... at least, it is qfn-24 package bq chip with four lines printed on it, visable is only edge outline shape... or maybe you can ask seller to picture pcb?

On jbl charge 3 is bq24297, and for jbl charge 4 it may use the same chip like yours, judging of component arrangement...

You can do reverse engeneering and trace each pad to hopefuly determinate what bq is used...
