by hotglyAfter upgrading the factory 128Gb SSD to a 512Gb WD_Black SN770M, this surface pro lost touch on screen, no touch in windows or in UEFI.
The Human Interface Devices did find touch and stylus but it shows Disabled in windows device manager.
I am not sure if this is a bios problem or hardware problem, already tried reinstall and reset from windows, not working. And now trying to clean/reset the bios.

by Carm99Hi
I have a Citronic AC-1USB.
When I run a turntable into it and then try to record it. The volume is too loud and distorting. In the red. Mainly 12” Singles. I haven’t tried a CD into it yet. I’m wondering if there is any way to bring the volume down inside the unit itself. Change a part or two. Put a small pot somewhere as there are no adjustments at all in there. I’m looking for the schematic but not found one yet.
Heres the circuit board inside.
Cheers

The laptop I am working on is RAZER BLADE 15 , RZ09-0369, the motherboard is DA560 VER 4.0. The original fault was it powered up with keyboard rgb on and no video on screen/hdmi. I found corrosion on memory module that leaked onto the memory socket. I cleaned the memory socket and was able to boot normal with other memory socket with good memory. I really should have stopped at this point as everything was working except for the one bad memory slot.
I wanted to find out what was wrong with the other memory slot. I replaced a 330uf cap, a buck converter on back of board and when i...5 PhotosYesterday, 06:37 PM -

by RunlincHi everyone, the tv was in a continuous reboot cycle. To get the best screen image i can I taped the VGH and VSS pins on the left side buffer board joining ribbon.
I am left with a good image apart from the black horizontal lines that I cannot get rid of.
I cannot find anything on the buffer boards that has shorted.
Do you think there is anything i can do to eliminate the lines, or are they caused by an internal panel short and the image cannot be impoved.
Many thanks for your assistance5 Photos05-14-2024, 07:40 AM -

by edugimenoHi everyone!
I have this board that suddenly stopped supplying power to an output that drives an interchanger cleaner motor.
I checked while the board was in place with all wires attached and there's no AC voltage on the corresponding plug X5
This X5 is driven by fuse F8 (tested OK) which comes from the second orange relay
To make sure there are no charcoaled contacts inside the relay, I got a 24VDC power supply and got it ready to manually power up the coil side of these relays.
I respected the polarity, positive to cathode of protecting diode
So provided all...04-18-2024, 01:15 PM -
by Ajm121Hey Friends,
I have an MBP 2019 16" (A2141), i9/64Gb/1Tb, and recently the LCD went out. Not flexgate or Dustgate. Backlight is on and works, the board still works and posts to an external monitor. Not a software issue, absolutely nothing shows up onscreen except for backlight glow. opened the bottom cover and resistor L8504, a 120 ohm resistor (I believe) is fried, and fell off the mobo with a gentle touch. after it fell off, same problem with zero change observed which is why I think it is the issue. That resistor, acc to the 820-01700 motherboard schematic, goes straight to pin 46...Today, 02:28 PM

by copeHi everyone,
I have been working on a no power issue with my personal ASUS gaming laptop. It went dead a few months ago.
Some history:
Since then, I've found a blown mosfet on the GPU line which I replaced. It started up without a battery, then when I added the battery back it wouldn't start up again.
As a result, there were some blown components around the BQ chip. (The BQ chip itself - BQ24780S, the low side battery mosfet (shorted), and a resistor -> all replaced)
Now, with a new battery the system will start up and run off...05-13-2024, 09:40 AM -
by tuankietkietWhen plugged in (no battery installed), the battery light on the motherboard lights up and then turn off. When powering on, the same and light and the power button also light up in a white color but no output on the display. It stayed like that for a few seconds before shutting down. I also seem to ruined a connector that connects to the WLAN, 2 USB and audio board, the same board also have a melted 2062A IC. I will post pictures in the reply section05-11-2024, 04:40 AM

by E--ManHi All,
Thanks for reading. Based on the interesting fact that the vertical lines issue don't seem to effect the menus whatsoever but rather everything around the menu regardless of video is shown, I'm trying to set mine whether the issue is the main board or the t-con board.
Again what's baffling is that the menu is not effected whatsoever. However, any other video displayed regardless of inputs or when no inputs exist exhibits the vertical lines and seem to effect black areas only.
The lines are green in color when the tv is in "Game Mode" and...5 Photos05-12-2024, 10:52 AM -
