HP Compaq CQ40 LA-4101P No Power Issue, Please Help
Hello, Please Help Me
Today I got CQ40 notebook that if I pressed power button, only white power led turn on, the others like wifi, touchpad no light.
After checked, I get this measurement :
LID_SW (16) - 3.3V
ACIN (127) - 1V (not stable, drop)
VCC (9) - 3.3V
ON / OFF # (32) - 3.1V / 3.3V
EC_RST # (37 ) - 1.8V
ACOFF (27) - 0V
OFF / ON
PM_SLP_S3 # (6) - 0V / 0V
PM_SLP_S5 # (14) - 0V / 0V
EC_RSMRST # (100) - 0V / 3.3V
SYSON (95) - 0V / 0V
VR_ON (121) - 0V / 0V
SUSP... -

Yes i did, reprogram bios but still the same, no image and the processor only get little warm.

Hello, anyone here, know the symptoms if the atom processor fail?
I have Asus X101H power on but no video on internal or external screen. All voltage is present and normal. The atom processor is n455, only get very little warm (i check without heatsink and fan, never get hot even it powered up to 10 minutes) when powered on.
It is processor (n455) or chipset (cg82nm10) faulty? -

But why it cannot charge the battery and on with battery?

Hello everybody...
I need your help..
Today i have a asus n43sl blank screen, all led indicator on except the [B]"charging led"[/B]
Found that [B]CPU Core was 0v when processor inserted[/B], but going 1,1v when processor removed. The PWM IC is [B]"ISL95831"[/B].
and then cannot "on" when using battery ("on" here means the indicator lights up but the display is blank)
I had :
1. changed the pwm IC ISL95831
2. changed the processor and test it into another motherboard
3. changed hub hm65

Hei Friends, yeah you right that signal from EC, but that problem has been solved.
No there's no TOKIN.
Now, the problem is RAM problem. I only can boot to bios when kingston ram in it, but always get thousand of errors on memtest86, so i cannot boot into windows.

Hi All, sorry for my bad english
Just arrived Acer Aspire 4740G (COMPAL NALGO LA-5681P) at my Desk, power on just for 10sec and then go off, no display and no power for hdd dan DVD (3VS and 5VS is 0V)
First, I replaced the EC, but the problem still the same,
Second, I replaced HM55 and flash EC bios,
Now can boot but only for 30 sec and then go off (suspect ME Region Problem) and only can boot with Kingston Ram Module, and no worked with the other. I've tested 10 ram module, and only work with Kingston, and then I searched another bios, and got it from Acer's...Last edited by chrizzclo; 03-18-2015, 01:40 AM. -
