    ATX brown wire sense range

I thinking to modify some ATX ver 1 supply, and wonder what if I connect 10k pot on 12v and center tap on brown wire? What range of 3.3v correction can to expect, or something will blow up if I close to rails, leave narrow 3.3v range?

It is KA7500B ic, but 3v3 sense is connected to TL431, I am not sure there is any connection between.

How did you get this idea and for what reason? I am just curious as I am drawing a total blank. Lol

some psu's have an extra wire to the connector for voltdrop sensing.
i doubt it will tollerate more than a volt before just shutting down.

I do understand what that wire does. But why fiddling with it?

          Yes, sorry I not mentioned...
Idea came from me myself, and with reason to can adjust low voltage for testing purpose (not computer). So you go for 2.5v - 4.0v range?

Supply have also -5v (white) and come to me without case and wires. It almost begging me to be incorporated somewere
