Thanks SMDFlea, managed to flash it.... -
Thanks for this SMDFlea
Unfortunately neither NEoProgrammer with your updated chiplist nor AsProgrammer detects this IC...Leave a comment:

Thanks SMDflea
I should have specified that this is with the ic desoldered and placed on a SOP socket on 25xx side
I have tried with the clip initially, but hasn't detected it. Unless that clip damaged the chip somehow. :/
Where the XM25QH128A IC on that socket reads fine, but gives me this error when programming XM25QH128A with GJCN27WW.bin or W25Q128FW_dump.bin from another but same board numbers.
...Code:22:40:05 Programming memory(verifying)... Main Memory Verification error on address: 0x00000000, Device: 0x00, Buffer: 0x02 Execution time: 00:00:00.032

IC not responding
Current programmer: CH341 Black
LC56-14A SVT
203021-1
Suspecting faulty ROM. Any recommendations as replacement?
Would Any 1.8V 120 Flash size would work?
XM25QH128A I have here seems to be 3.3VLeave a comment:

Thanks, Im mainly relying on pulled ics from spare/scrap boards. I assume i dont have other way to just erase them and let bios reflash them at startup. Not even sure if thats consistent across most recetn < 3yo models
What setup did you use RT8209 under? What issues do you experience?...Leave a comment:

Experience with PC Keyboard controller programmer - IT80x, ENE, etc.
Start getting windows based machines with blown SuperIO/KBD controller ICs. Seems like IT80 serries cant be programmed with CH341. Although there is some info for KB90xx controller here - http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/...ith_Bus_Pirate Doesnt look like NeoProgrammer supports IT8xx series
What do you guys use?
I was looking at these options:- RT809F with ITE SMBUS adapter - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008719739481.html
- XZZ IT8390

Hi guys, this one was switched off while update was in progress. Any chance to recover this bios?
I've tried this BIOS, but no luck - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...54#post3586454

Only QR I have are these. Nothing on the other side of the board or under RAM
Etched on the board - R416NBCV00EUDJMB,R416NBCV00EUDJMB,X1502ZA,60NB0VX0-MBH020,224,
This one works well - I have flashed this BIOS for test purposes and it lights up the ASUS but blank SN. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...21#post3593121

Does it need to show the SN of the device? Its out owf warranty anyway. Windows also says activcated with a digital license?...Leave a comment:

Lenovo Yoga 330 11IGM YOGA330_MB_V06 Blown Voltage Reg V3P3A and ENE KBD Controller
This is a Data Recovery case from Lenovo Yoga 330 11IGM onboard eMMC Sandisk 128GB
Seems like the device had a power surge. Blown U6002 and went and cracked the die of the KBD controller. I detached the JP6003/4 tracks around U6002 but short still appears around the kbd controller (i believe)
I havent had a case to replace and reprogram KBD controllers before. How can I get the dump and what tool do I need to use. Is there a process written somewhere? Thanks in advance.
Let me know if you know any jigs which can recognise these sandisk chips. I wont mind...4 PhotosLast edited by ZixuTech; 01-02-2024, 04:01 AM.
