Worked great. managed to load into BL key and BIOS
Edit:
Sparo For whatever reason after being off with battery connected for couple hours, when I turn it on it still stays at black screen adn with just a blinking power button light.
Unsure whats happening with this device....

unlock W25Q128FW DUMP1.bin is stuck on black screen with capslock key and power button keys on only even after 20mins. Fan spinning, cpu hot.
After shut down, turns on with black screen and blinks the power button regularly. No heat or fan spinLeave a comment:

I am not sure if it looks corrupted, but seems like user had a windows update recently.
I dumped it, but when try to Verify or Erase comes with this error. Could it be failed flash ic?

I should have specified that this is with the ic desoldered and placed on a SOP socket on 25xx side
I have tried with the clip initially, but hasn't detected it. Unless that clip damaged the chip somehow. :/
Where the XM25QH128A IC on that socket reads fine, but gives me this error when programming XM25QH128A with GJCN27WW.bin or W25Q128FW_dump.bin from another but same board numbers.

Thanks, Im mainly relying on pulled ics from spare/scrap boards. I assume i dont have other way to just erase them and let bios reflash them at startup. Not even sure if thats consistent across most recetn < 3yo models

Experience with PC Keyboard controller programmer - IT80x, ENE, etc.
Start getting windows based machines with blown SuperIO/KBD controller ICs. Seems like IT80 serries cant be programmed with CH341. Although there is some info for KB90xx controller here - http://dangerousprototypes.com/docs/...ith_Bus_Pirate Doesnt look like NeoProgrammer supports IT8xx series
What do you guys use?
