by alex26Hello.
I need help with a laptop Dell with LA-D801P motherboard.
The laptop completely died, no power, no leds.
The voltage of 19V is present at the output of the second mosfet.
The voltage on Pin 9 and 19 of PU102 is 0V.
Voltage on
PU100 :
pin2 =19v
pin11 =4.16v
pin12 =0.18v
pin17 =0v
pin19 =0v
I have 0 ohms on the coils PL100, PL301 and PL700.
If I remove pjp102 the short remains on the side of +3VALW.
Then I removed pjp501 and pjp801 but the short did not go to the integrated PU500 and PU800.
Then I checked...Today, 02:54 AM -

by AdrenalinTLHi Peeps.
Quick question. Might sound silly so bear with me pls.
After flashing a BIOS with a flashing tool, my laptop went from stone dead, to the fan spinning. However the screen doesnt show POST. Is there anything like pulling out the battery AFTER flashing the BIOS one needs to do or is there another issue I am sitting with now?Today, 01:00 PM -
by gjgibHi again guys. I have this motherboard that won't show display even tho it was doing it yesterday. I think something could've past away in the circuit.
I'd appreciate if anyone who is used to MOBO LCD voltages and circuits could enlighten me since this is the first time I have to deal with it.
I'm missing +3VLCD.

by dragon3xHi, this is for troubleshooting and, hopefully, repairing a Delta Power psu
that is still quite new, as it worked OK for some months until it failed.
At the time I was not into power supply electronics; it was put
aside and a new power supply installed inside the computer. Also at the time
power supplies were half the price of today's.
On the PCB there are a D339 and 7500B chips.
I have found that schematics with these 2 chips (see included file).
Does it represent the actual circuit of the MAX-500ATX, I cannot tell.
Some measurements,...Today, 03:34 PM -
by jetuaime81I have a nacon controller which has some fancy RGB ring (4 RGB LEDs). 3 of 4 leds are not good and I am looking for a replacement. The size I measured is 3mm x 2.5mm and it seems a 3528 led would fit fine, and it's in common anode. But I am not sure what wattage it is. I have attached photos of led and driver ic (ak63rq1 I think).
Also one of the triggers is malfunctioning sometimes, I don't know what these pots are called. I measured across the 1st and last legs (in circuit) seems to be 1.1kohm pot. I found some xbox controllers have this but they are 10k. Any info?...Today, 08:28 PM

by OmronI have a 5W lamp on 12Volts battery, I want it to be half as bright, so I will add a resistor. What resistor should I supply?
A = W = 5 = 0.416mA
_ _
V 12
R = V = 12 = 28.84 Ohms (R) this is resistance of lamp
_ _____
I 0.416
So I will add one resistor 28.84 Ohms
I will have 28.84 + 28.84 = 57.6 Ohms
Or 28.84 + 28.84 = 14.42 Ohms
I don't know if it will work in series or in parallel
voltage would be 6V and amp current mA = 0.208mA We divide everything by two
W= V * I...Yesterday, 01:58 AM -
