Of course,I replaced blown fuse with new fuse(bussman sr5 1a 250v) which has the same voltage and ampere specification of blown fuse.It seems that It takes quite long time to receive incandecent car light bulbs from aliexpress,So I purchased fuse and ceremic resistor from local shop.I also connected 20w 24 ohm ceremic resistor to negative and positive output connector of power adaptor for output load test, It also displayed stable 12.15V as with 20w 12 ohm ceremic resistor did.Last edited by chth96; 06-27-2025, 05:08 AM. -
I connected 10w 1k ohm ceramic resistor to negative and positive output connector of power adaptor for output load test. I noticed that Its output voltage is less than 0.1V and Its fuse(sr5 1a 250v) was blown as soon as I measured voltage of main filter capacitor.
So Yesterday, I purchased bussman sr5 1a 250v fuse and 20w 12 ohm ceramic resistor, and I replaced blown fuse with it, And connected 12 ohm ceramic resistor to negative and positive output connector of power adaptor.

I finally measured resistance of carbon resistor..
resistance of R9 resistor is 0.99kohm and R8 is 3.904kohm
below carbon resistor is the biggest(1w) resistor in this PCB
resistance is 47.12kohm
R2 resistor is 55.06kohm and this resistor is directly connected to Vstr pin of PWM DM0365R
From the top resistor,resistance is 675.2 ohm, 0.996kohm, 6.91kohm
biggest(1w) resistor is 47.12kohm and a resistor which stands vertically is 10.6 ohm

I measured DC voltage between each legs on the optocoupler secondary side and negative pin of capacitor(16v 470uf) in the secondary side.
It fluctuated between 11.2V and 0V, 10.5V and 0V like below dropbox links.

How Can I test PWM DM0365R?
Hello
I have power adaptor(220V/input, 12V 1.2A/output) which has symptom of fluctuating output DC voltage between 11.5V-12.2V.
So I opened its plastic case and when switched it on, I heard constant tik tik sound from inside its PCB.
I measured DC voltage between negative and positive pin of the largest capacitor(400v 10uf) and it was measured contant 300V.
I also measured ESR value of all capacitors and I noticed that one of capacitor(KMG 16v 470uf), which located in the secondary side, have high ESR value(10 ohm),So I replaced it with same specification NXH capacitor.... -
Is it possible to use KMG Series capacitor for over 1uf smd capacitor on LCD display's PCB?
And As far as I know, polypropylene film cap is non-polarized. Is it possible to use 0.47uf non-polarized film cap instead of smd or dip 0.47uf polarized capacitor?Leave a comment:

what capacitor should I purchase for LCD display PCB?
I want to fix Video door phone which works its doorbell but it is not able to display any screen.
So I disassembled its plastic case and I detached FPC film cable from LCD display in order to inspect LCD display's PCB
I measured ESR resistance of all smd capacitor on this PCB and I noticed that there is some SMD capacitor which has high ESR value(48ohm 50V 0.47uf,15 and 28 ohm 50v 3.3uf,10 and 8 ohm 35v 10uf)
I desoldered this 5 suspicious SMD capacitor like below screenshot.

What capacitor should I purchase for Power Supply of obsolete game consoles?
hello.
I have Sega Saturn and 5 years ago, I recapped all of capacitor in the Power supply, Because At that time, It frequently freezed black screen after SEGA logo displayed.
It hardly ever freezed after I finished to recap all of caps in the power supply.
But Yesterday, It did not show any screen at all and its green power LED constantly blinked.
To my surprise I found that all of two NXH 10v 2200uf capacitors in the secondary area of Power supply have been bulged and It measured 57 mF and 75 mF capacitance.

What is name of IC which is written "601Km" on its surface?
Hello.
I have T12-952 soldering station which is not able to display any screen But When I power on it, iron become hot.
I desolder some components to check whether it have been faulty or not, But When I tried to desolder an IC Which is written "601Km" on the surface,I broke leftmost pin like attached photos.
I use Mini Drill in order to peel off plastic suface but I cannot found copper sheet which is supposed to be pin3.
What is name of IC which is written "601Km" on the surface?

A week ago, I noticed that
It sounds very weird loud noise from anode cap and Flyback transformer!!!
It seems that the origin of noises is FBT.It obviously sound very weird.
and There is also static sound and phut sound from anode cap...
Although It display normal screen as before,,But I really dread of breaking out fire or explosion at some future day, If I continute to use this CRT TV..

I only make use of Isoloader 0.7 beta1 in dreamshell,So there is no AV convertor like SCART or VGAbox.
Now, I think that flickering screen is negligible matter as There is no way to display 50Hz screen correctly in this CRT TV.
And I found that one of GND solder pad In the CPT board have been torn out.
So, I scraped remained solder pad with needle to expose copper surface and soldered it to GND pin.
And this time,I deliberately hindered anode cable from being very close to yoke like below picture.

It seems that the program(Isoloader 0.7 beta1 in dreamshell) don't enable real 50Hz mode.
By the way,I found that there is small crack on the one of GND soldering joint in the CPT board ,So I soldered it and all of other large pins on the CPT board like below picture.

It is not possible to purchase bi-polar capacitor which has 5.6µf/50v specification,So I still not yet replaced it.
I noticed that There was a crack in some pins of Q408(KTD2059-Y) and IC601(it look like below screenshot).
So I soldered these pin and There was no more distorted screen and silent while pressing channel up or down button!
But Unfortuantely,There still remains minor issues which seems to be extremely hard to repair.

When I desoldered R831 and solder 60w bulb, I measured B+ filter capacitor and It was measured 120Vdc.
So I think that there is no faulty in the HOT area. So I doubted maybe there was loose contact on the pin of IC,Beacuse This CRT TV was manufactured over 25 years,So solder joint would not as tight as twenty five years ago.
And it seems that weight of its PCB is about 2kg,I think that Whenever I deposited this heavy PCB on the floor,this would put pressure on the pin of IC ,So there would be minor crack on its solder joint.

I replaced ZD808 zener diode with 1N4737,But it won't repair black screen symptom,and there is no difference between these zener diode in measuring cathode voltage(7.1Vdc)
I think that I need to connect a 40w 60w bulb to B+ soldering point of Flyback transformer,But I don't know the process to substitute for the Flyback's B+ Load with a blub in detail.Leave a comment:

I just have measured DC voltage of C812 by placing red probe to positive terminal of C812 and placing black probe to negative terminal of C808 in HOT area(400V 470uf the biggest capacitor in the circuit).
It was measured 10.8DCV.
And I measured cathode of ZD808,It was measured 7.1DCV and Q800(C3852A) base was also measured 7.1 DCV.
Q800(C3852A) collector was measured 10.8DCV.and pin#9 of STR-S6707 was measured 6.4DCV.
I desoldered C812 and I check it with LCR T4 meter. Its capacitance was still within 10% tolerance(23uf)...Leave a comment:

The strange thing is whenever I measure the DC voltage of pin#9 of STR-S6707, It is measured 6.4V.
As far as I know,It should be measured at least 7.6V in order to go On-State Voltage.
I doubted any diode near STR-S6707,So I checked it using analogue meter(x10 ohm) But It showed only one reading with the correct and opposite polarity of probe.Leave a comment:

there is no inductor left or right to the transformer.
I saw H46 or H90 schematic which you have attached, But it seems that it is totally different to the circuits which I tried to repair.
And I saw MC-7CA schematic and at least It is somewhat similar to STR-S6707 area in the circuits.
You can compare STR-S6707 area in the MC-7CA schematic to my drawing of circuits which contains resistor and capacitor near STR-S6707.
I already have measured ESR ohm value of all capacitor with ESR meter(MESR-100) and checked most of diode...Leave a comment:
