    HP G3 BIOS

    Hi Peeps.

Quick question. Might sound silly so bear with me pls.

After flashing a BIOS with a flashing tool, my laptop went from stone dead, to the fan spinning. However the screen doesnt show POST. Is there anything like pulling out the battery AFTER flashing the BIOS one needs to do or is there another issue I am sitting with now?

Did the laptop work before the bios was reflashed? If yes, apply the original bios or a known good bios image back onto the bios chip. If you require a known good bios, make that request inside the dedicated bios forum.

Which battery you are talking about-CMOS Cell or backup battery?
CMOS cell should be always removed before flashing bios.
Are you sure the new bios is 100% working and me cleaned?

Ah. Did not know bios battery needed to be removed. I am speaking about the CMOS battery.
Presume the bin file from manufacturers website is ok to flash?
Flashed that, and orange charge light blinks. No power.
Flash a BIOS from https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...probook-450-g3 and the fan spins at high rev with nothing on the screen.
HDMI also shows no pic. external keyboard shows no power.

Use the bios from badcaps for the time being and measure voltages on all the coils.
Link schematic,if its posted on badcaps forum.
