Hello everyone,
My Legion 5 15IAH7 won't post. won't boot. No fans, no keyboard backlight.
Online power led and charging led lights up.
My guess is that there is some issue with the BIOS.
It's the NM-E241 Rev 1.0 motherboard.
As I found out there are two BIOS dumps needed for this board.
One 16MB and one 8MB.
I've got both uploaded. Can you maybe check and fix this BIOS files?
Thanks a lot in advantage ...

by OmronGuys I have set top box which has no power on in specific case. When I insert antenna plug which has 12V on it because of dB gain device on top of antenna, device if its turned off, it will not turn on.
After I need to open the case and short + and - on ABS10 chip and after that device will turn on, without antenna plugged in, after its turned on I can plug in antenna and it will work fine, but I notice there is some extra heat inside the unit.
Is this chip okay? Rectifier bridge ABS10 JQC I don't think there should be connection like additional diode between plus and minus...Today, 03:09 AM -

by gizahaHello. I have problem with Dell psu, outputs are ok but it does not give power ok signal.
It has a secondady board with wt7527s to check inputs. It doesn't give PGO because it doesn't take enough PGI.
It takes PGI from a voltage divider.
I draw a schematic for you to understand.
My first question is why 5v use two transformer pins, while 12v uses only one.
My second question, is pin 2 in transformer weak? After resistor, diode and voltage divider, result is 0.7v instead of 1.2v, so wt7527s does not output PGO....05-20-2024, 07:33 AM -
by sam_sam_samThis started a few days ago and does this about every 8 hours
After it does this it goes back to normal no bad battery icon and no weird sounds and it goes to battery backup mode so I am not sure what is going on with this battery backup
The battery backup is about 3 or 4 years old
Dose anyone have any idea on how to troubleshoot this issue I have never had a battery backup do this kind-a thing before so I am not sure exactly how to troubleshoot it and where to startToday, 02:30 AM -
by NagyeszHi all,
Model: HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA
Board number: DAG7ALMB8C0 - G7AL REV C
Issue: I have an HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA laptop. When plugged into the charger, it turns on, but there is no display, the fans do not run, and the processor gets slightly warm. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is. I've reflashed the BIOS twice without any success. No post. Already tried out with another ram stick with no luck
I measured the voltage with the HP turned on in red, and I measured their resistance with the HP turned off in green....05-30-2024, 04:10 AM -
by ongobongoI'm working on another Lenovo E14 gen 2 AMD here which has a ton of errors with the factory soldered DDR4 ram chips. I do have a donor board here from which I'd like to use the modules and swap them. Unfortunately, the modules are glued down with underfill, which i have never worked with before.
I tried with a lot of heat on the donor board but the modules won't come loose.
Are there any hint or tricks when it comes to dealing with underfilled chips/ic that could help here
Thanks

by max_smartHi all,
First off, this forum really helped me out by advising me to cut some ribbon connectors to the LCD panel in order to fix a 70" TV (lots of threads on Sharp TVs with this issue). I didn't believe that it could work, but it did.
Now I've been encouraged to try to diagnose something quite a bit more complicated. That is an old T430 motherboard. I work on a college campus so I have access to pretty decent tools. I found the schematic for the motherboard on the site, and have been following traces and taking DC measurements from things. I also don't mind...3 PhotosYesterday, 03:27 PM -
