I was wrong, forget it.
The touchpad problem was from windows.
Thank you anyway (indeed is psplpX but the original bios is corrupted, i do not trust it)Leave a comment:

Anyone has bios for p70-a-129? The bios i flashed from this thread does not recognize touchpadLeave a comment:

it work for me also.
I had a toshiba satellite p70-a-129 with DA0BDBMB8F0, waked, no post.
I made all known practices, it wasn't fixed.
I wasn't sure for flashing because i had 3.3v at bios CS# pin and if i read correctly, that means bios ic is turned off.
However flashing (and then clear cmos) fixed the problem....Leave a comment:

I tested a working psu because i no longer have the faulty one.
The diode is defined as diode in board and not ZD.
However i got 7.8v reverse voltage when injecting 14v through a 10k resistor.
Next time i will have a faulty psu i will compare the values or swap the diode just in caseLeave a comment:

Dell optiplex PSU problem
Hello. I have problem with Dell psu, outputs are ok but it does not give power ok signal.
It has a secondady board with wt7527s to check inputs. It doesn't give PGO because it doesn't take enough PGI.
It takes PGI from a voltage divider.
I draw a schematic for you to understand.
My first question is why 5v use two transformer pins, while 12v uses only one.
My second question, is pin 2 in transformer weak? After resistor, diode and voltage divider, result is 0.7v instead of 1.2v, so wt7527s does not output PGO.... -
Dell Latitude 5580 possible bios corruption
Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
(from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)
I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.
Since ssd is replaced and had clean install windows, i've... -
macbook pro M1 a2338 820-02020 water damage
Small water damage, cleaned it.
Shorted CL002, i removed it carefully with soldering iron, now it has voltage.
5v instant 180ma and then 100ma stable. I didn't found cycling voltage nor shorts in the motherboard.
I don't have pp5v_s2 because uc300 does not get enable pin from u8100 (it gets VIN). pp5v_s2 is not shorted, nor enable pin line.
PP3V3_S2 OK
PP3V3_S2_UPC OK
PP1V5_VLDOINT_MPMU OK
PP3V3_AON OK
PP1V8_AON OK
PP1V25_S2 OK
PP1V8_S2 OK
PP1V8_S2SW_VDD1 OK
PP3V8_AON OK
u8100 did not have corrosion...Last edited by gizaha; 07-15-2022, 07:14 AM. -
Re: 820-00928-a Schematic needed
Find solution about this cap! Boardview 820-01814 that look alike shows that this cap (with the other two on the other side of mobo c0402 c0403) have both legs GND (i don't know why).Leave a comment:

Re: 820-00928-a Schematic needed
This schematic is for 820-00281 that was wrongly renamed 820-00928.brd because there are differences.
Same problem about this cap here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1022772Leave a comment:

Re: 820-000928-A Help Identify Location of this Capacitor
Sometimes a shorted cap will not heat. No alcohol, no freeze spray, no thermal cam will help you. A laser thermometer does not indicate even a 0.1C difference. Motherboard lines will absorve the amperage and there are thinner that the shorted part (so the part will not heat even with high amperage).
In this case i apply some safe voltage as mentioned with 1-2 amperes (never needed more) and check with multimeter all the suspicious parts that connect with the shorted line (using boardview). In the multimeter on...Leave a comment:

Re: Help Identify Location of this Capacitor
I have exactly the same problem. There are also 2 capacitors on the rear side of this area that are not on boardview and they share the shortage of the line also.
I removed all 3 capacitors and the short is here. So tommorow i will search the rest of board.Last edited by gizaha; 06-06-2022, 08:06 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: 820-00928-a Schematic needed
Thanks for the files but 820-00928-A is different than the boardview posted here.
You can check here https://logi.wiki/index.php/MacBook_..._composite.jpg
in the upper right corner, there is an extra capacitor next to c4912.
The specific extra capacitor is shorted on mine.Leave a comment:

Re: hp DA0R23MB6D1 doesnt turn on
Bad news, i soft heated (70C 20sec) u32(chipset) and motherboard turned on.Last edited by gizaha; 05-28-2022, 04:35 AM.Leave a comment:
