thanks i tried it turned on then did firmware recovery and bios is still locked

I did all those steps so many time with no succes
I think I damaged the ITE chip when I was reprograming the little bios with the clipper thing without desoldering

I already tried with that bios from hp still nothing the board has all the power rails no shorts it turn on, fans are spinning but no picture...
I have the cap lock blinking that's all
The laptop was working before I wanted to update the bios chip with ch341a because the laptop wont boot on windows properly from then the laptop is dead..Leave a comment:

Bios lock on dell latitude 5500
Hi friends,
I have a DELL 5500 laptop with a BIOS code LOCK
The system number is FMH4M33-8FC8
I tried many generated password from website like bios-pwdotcom but it doesn't work...
Do I really need to reprogram the bios chip ?
