by dragon3xHi, this is for troubleshooting and, hopefully, repairing a Delta Power psu
that is still quite new, as it worked OK for some months until it failed.
At the time I was not into power supply electronics; it was put
aside and a new power supply installed inside the computer. Also at the time
power supplies were half the price of today's.
On the PCB there are a D339 and 7500B chips.
I have found that schematics with these 2 chips (see included file).
Does it represent the actual circuit of the MAX-500ATX, I cannot tell.

by chth96I desoldered samwha NF capacitor(50v 5.6uf) from PCB circuit of 29inch CRT TV which have symptoms of no display after I heard sound of inrush of current to TV whenever I switch on this television.
I measured ESR value of this non-polarized capacitor(samwha NF capacitor 50v 5.6uf) by means of MESR-100 ESR meter and It displayed 0.3 ohm
And When I measured its capacitance with digital multimeter and LCR-T4 Mega328 meter, It displayed 10uf from DMM and 8uf from LCR-T4 meter.
I found catalogue of samwha capacitor(samwha-catalogue_3.pdf file), which is attached to this thread,...-

by unimatrix93Can I ask you guys help me identify this godforsaken component?
I'm tearing my hair out finding this component.
The board is from an egg incubator.
i got it with a "popped cap" while there are many damaged components on it, which got succesfully identified with one exception:

Quick question. Might sound silly so bear with me pls.
After flashing a BIOS with a flashing tool, my laptop went from stone dead, to the fan spinning. However the screen doesnt show POST. Is there anything like pulling out the battery AFTER flashing the BIOS one needs to do or is there another issue I am sitting with now?Yesterday, 01:00 PM -

by Stigsolbjerghi again
this time its a mainboard from a mowerrobot, when i connect battery it shorts it, so the bms shuts down battery.
when take the mm in beepmode and measure from the positive to the negative battery terminal on the board it beeps shortly like 0,25 sec, and when i reverse the probes it beeps again shortly 0,25 sec.
when i mesure on the cap thats missing in pic nr 2, the bottom solderpath goes to the negative, the upper one is 1,2 ohm to negative is this a short?
hope Capleaker is still around2 Photos05-27-2024, 02:33 PM -
by gregor13Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out for some help with a problem I've encountered with my HP Elitebook x360 1040 G6.
I recently noticed that my computer wasn't powering on. After a bit of investigation, I discovered a burnt component on the motherboard. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure what this component is, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance in identifying it and determining if it can be replaced. by gjgibHi again guys. I have this motherboard that won't show display even tho it was doing it yesterday. I think something could've past away in the circuit.
I'd appreciate if anyone who is used to MOBO LCD voltages and circuits could enlighten me since this is the first time I have to deal with it.

by OmronI have a 5W lamp on 12Volts battery, I want it to be half as bright, so I will add a resistor. What resistor should I supply?
A = W = 5 = 0.416mA
_ _
V 12
R = V = 12 = 28.84 Ohms (R) this is resistance of lamp
_ _____
I 0.416
So I will add one resistor 28.84 Ohms
I will have 28.84 + 28.84 = 57.6 Ohms
Or 28.84 + 28.84 = 14.42 Ohms
I don't know if it will work in series or in parallel
voltage would be 6V and amp current mA = 0.208mA We divide everything by two
W= V * I...06-04-2024, 01:58 AM -
