Ordered a new chip, now is the waiting game... If you have Sparo free time, could you help me get on track? I have a rt809 with peb1, ite adapter, flex cables etc... I was wondering to somehow clear the current firmware from the chip. I have a boardview file for this motherboard, i was wondering if my idea could work and save few weeeks..

Yeah, me too. I think that's a KBC/EC (IT51368VG512) problem. I think im going to order and replace it, but i have a question:
Does IT51368VG512 have to be preprogrammed or it should program it self upon first boot ?
p.s. : picutre for fun, for quick reprogramming bios

Ofc i tried, even tried every bios version from asus, does not help. I dont know what to do anymore, it starts to annoy me, what a great doorstopper for 1k+ eur.
p.s. i will try now somehow to boot windows and do a update from windows, maybe that will help...Leave a comment:

It's the same as i said in the #13 post. Tried to update firmware via BIOS when it boots(it boots ONLY the first time after flashing dump), still same... Tried cloud recovery, but it ask to turn on secure boot, maybe that's possible to do in the bios dump and then flash it(with secure boot set to enabled) ?
Many, many thanks to the people who tries to help me, i owe you all.
p.s. Should i flash the EC too ? How i could do that ? EC model IT51368VG512...Leave a comment:

Still showing this... after system reboots, it boots to bios, but only once... After reboot once again shows bios recovery steps but does not boot to bios anymore. Tried to flash new bios when it boots, but still no luck......

Hello, i have asus zenbook ux5406sa, problem is that upon booting it shows "please follow the steps below to recover your bios...", i tried to recover bios with that intergrated bios recovery, after inserting usb drive screen does not show anything, but laptops keeps rebooting repeatedly about 30seconds after reboot. Serial number is not possible due to worn out sticker on bottom.
The qr code on the motherboard : DB348M100UK,S834NBKD000690MB,UX5406SA,60NB14F0-MB9250,200
attaching original bios.
Many thanks in advance....Leave a comment:
