by Dallen BryceHello all,
I just finished flashing a new bios on an HP EliteBook 650 G10, and everything works except wifi and bluetooth. After installing the necessary drivers, the wireless card reports code 43 in windows. When restarting the computer, i get a code 10 (could not start) on the wireless card in device manager. I suspect that this could be a mac address issue, but I don't know what address to set it to in the bios, or if this is even related to the problem at all. Any insight on this would be appreciated.Today, 04:05 PM -
by SSBDADC234Haptic feedback on the trackpad works, and the app configurator on other MacBooks recognizes this MacBook.(not DFU status) That is, the power is turned on normally. However, nothing is output on the screen. no backlight, no image.
Both screen and screen cables are fine.
The result of the logic board check is as follows.

by Fisher8865Hi guys
I have a MacBook Pro A1990 that takes 4.9 Volts and .592 to .615 amps on one port. The other port on the left side power cycles with about the same amount of volts an amps but quickly power cycles. The same thing happens on the other side but opposite. So on the left side the bottom port stays on and on the right side it's the top one. I think it is a CD3215 chip but I am not sure how to test it or where to get one. I have checked for voltage at ppbus_g3h and it has 12.6 V which is also on fuses f7000 and f7001 I checked pp1v2_s3 and it has 1.2 V then...Today, 07:36 PM -

by dclass-proHi guys, I have this macbook a1278 which doesn't have any image on the display, but when I turn it on I hear the chime.
I found the L9008 choke open and reset it.
When I turn on the macbook I have about 3v on pins 3 and 4 of the display so everything is ok but I still don't have the image.
On the backligt pin 21 and 22 I have 0v but the fuses are all ok.
What can I check?
I tried another display from a macbook a1278 but from the previous year and it still doesn't work.Yesterday, 02:17 AM -

by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

by NagyeszHi all,
Model: HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA
Board number: DAG7ALMB8C0 - G7AL REV C
Issue: I have an HP Pavilion 14-ce3010nh 8BV97EA laptop. When plugged into the charger, it turns on, but there is no display, the fans do not run, and the processor gets slightly warm. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is. I've reflashed the BIOS twice without any success. No post. Already tried out with another ram stick with no luck
I measured the voltage with the HP turned on in red, and I measured their resistance with the HP turned off in green....Today, 04:10 AM -

by Dallen BryceHello, I'm trying to remove the password from an HP Elitebook 650 G10. It's motherboard has two chips, a 32mb spi (W25Q256JVEN) and 32mb ec (GD25B256EYIG). I have created a dump of each, but don't know which one(s) to patch. Could someone point me in the right direction or just patch it for me?...

Here is the bypass solution for several Lenovo ECs.
This has worked on many ECs.
Only works if password is contained in EC
I succeeded on many models
